• Knowhere NFT Marketplace will open for trade on Terra 2.0 on June 20, 2022.
• Knowhere NFT Marketplace on Terra Classic will terminate on the 30th of June 2022.

Incoming Transmission…the Knowhere mothership is on a voyage to rebuild and renew for crew and community, with coordinates set for Terra 2.0.

It’s time to reignite and cultivate a creative hub where we can envision a bright future for Terra NFTs. With this in mind, Knowhere’s development team is hard at work migrating our NFT infrastructure and resources to Terra 2.

For now, we have an update on the voyage so far, why Knowhere continues to build on Terra, the latest migration details, and more. All aboard!

The Decision To Rebuild

As the moon fell to earth, massive tides rippled through the Terra community. The Knowhere team, like most LUNAtics, was left shell-shocked but alive.

We got back up, dusted down, and began discussing the next best move with launchpad partners and our community.

Ultimately, Knowhere will continue building on Terra 2.0 once it became evident that the best move for Knowhere would be to migrate, and rebuild on Terra 2.0 and support the Lunatics community wholeheartedly.

Why We Build

As OG builders on Terra who created the ecosystem’s first NFT collection as well as marketplace — it’s safe to say that Terra and Lunatics hold a special place in our hearts.

Pre-crash, Terra 1.0 had a thriving NFT ecosystem with the Knowhere platform a dependable, cousin-free constant for trade and commerce.

And having just recently launched V3 of our site just months before disaster struck— we’re ready to do our part to revitalize Terra NFTs.

Migration Details

The great migration is at hand. As we speak, our dev team are hard at work migrating to Terra 2.

Here are some details of what to expect for users, projects, and artists.

Timeline & Procedure of Migration

Launchpad projects will be required to opt-in the migration by applying via the form we distributed.

While all 1-of-1 NFTs on Knowhere will be automatically migrated to Terra 2.0 by default, so sit back and relax. We’ve got you covered!

For 1-of-1 Artists & NFTs

• Snapshots will be taken on the 16th of June.
• Holders are required to delist their NFTs on Terra classic by 6 am UTC, 15th June to be eligible for Terra 2.0 airdrops.
• From 6 am UTC,15th June, holders must refrain from all transactions until the migration is complete.
• All NFTs transactions done on terra classic after 15th June 6 am UTC, will not be guaranteed for terra 2.0 migration.
• Migrated 1-of-1 NFTs will be airdropped to holders on Terra 2.0 on the 22nd of June.

For Launchpad Projects

• Projects are required to fill in the form sent to the project representative by 6 am UTC on June 15th.
• Project NFT holders are liable to delist their NFTs from all marketplaces before 15th June 6 am UTC, and should not perform any transaction until the migration is complete. Snapshots of holders will be taken from the 16th to the 18th of June.
• All NFTs transactions done on terra classic after 6 am UTC, June 15th, will not be guaranteed for terra 2.0 migration.
• The secondary market of terra classic will be closed on June 15, 6 am UTC onwards.
• Migration of Launchpad Project and airdrops will be complete by 6 am UTC, June 20th.

What’s Next in Steps (Summary)

1. Your NFTs will be viewable in your wallet on Terra 2.0 if the launchpad project has chosen to migrate to the new chain. If you own any 1-of-1 NFTs, they will be migrated and airdropped by default.
2. Knowhere will take a snapshot of every single NFT holder’s address during the dates and time specified above.
3. Be aware of the delisting deadline and cease all transactions during the migration period to avoid unexpected occurrences.
4. Deploy Terra 2.0 then mint and airdrop migrated NFTs to addresses from the snapshot.

*The above will only be valid for projects’ migration applicants and all 1-of-1s that launched and/or listed with Knowhere*

Can I Still Use Knowhere on Terra 1.0 (Classic)?

During this migration process, Knowhere will continue to operate on Terra 1.0 until June 20th, a week after Knowhere Terra 2.0 launched. Please note that users will be able to make transactions as normal as long as their wallet settings are connected to Terra Classic.

*However, please avoid transactions during the migration period if you want to be eligible for Terra 2.0 airdrop.*

FAQs

When do I need to delist my NFTs?

Please delist your NFTs before the 15th of June, 6 am UTC. It’s important to delist from all marketplaces i.e. RandomEarth, Talis, etc.

When will snapshots be taken?

Snapshots will be taken and processed from 16th to 20th June for all 1-of-1 and Launchpad Projects who opt-in (filled in the form and applied to migration support by KW).

When will Knowhere be deployed on Terra 2.0?

Knowhere will deploy on Terra 2.0 on the 20th of June at 7 am UTC.

Will Knowhere continue to work on Terra 1.0? If so, until when?

The Knowhere website on Terra 1.0 (Classic) will be terminated on the 30th of June, a week after the migration is done.

I am a launchpad project — what must we do to migrate?

If you are one of our launchpad partners, you will be required to fill in the form we sent you.

For projects who would like to onboard this migration mission, please be aware of the timeline:

• Knowhere will automatically close the secondary market for migrating projects on 15th June at 6 am UTC.
• The snapshot will be taken from the 16th of June at 6 am UTC and processed till the 20th of June at 6 am UTC.
• The redistribution (airdrops) will be complete by the 20th of June, 6 am UTC.

I am an NFT holder— what should I do?

First, check the NFTs you hold are 1-of-1s or from our Launchpad Projects.

- If you own 1-of-1s that’s listed on Knowhere, please delist and ceased transactions by 6 am UTC, June 15th. The snapshot will be taken and the migration will be completed by 22nd of June.

If you own NFTs from our Launchpad projects, please inquire them for detail migration instructions. If they are to migrate with Knowhere, please delist and cease transactions by 6 am UTC, June 15th.
