What’s the big deal?
Besides being asked to write it, why does this announcement matter to what we are doing here in Tucson?
This is huge. The likes of Serta Simmons Beddings LLC partnering with iDealFurniture and KozyHome is like world-renowned actress Julia Roberts acting alongside non-name novices turned megastars (think Notting Hill and My Best Friend’s Wedding)!
The Simmons brand will give iDealFurniture and KozyHome network partners a bigger piece of the furniture business with a household brand. I love, love, love the PerfectDreamer mattress. But folks know Simmons BeautyRest. It’s the Julia Roberts of beds. And KozyHome is the next Hugh Grant (or Cameron Diaz, if you prefer).
You can bet Denielle and I will be stocking our garage with these well-known beauties before long.
But, I still have a garage full of high-end, not-yet-household-name mattresses in my garage. I have plenty of interest on Facebook Marketplace, but my attempts to sell a bed daily have yet to be realized. Even with the help of my promising FurnitureBROKERS.
