Watch Out Y’all, There’s A New Brew Coming Through

As if Charlotte did not have enough breweries already, there are many more coming to the city. A new brewery called Town Brewing opens this summer off of West Morehead Street, right behind Rhino Market.

This 10,600 square-foot building was formally used for storing industrial equiment. Rennovations are currently being done by Doerre Construction and plan to be completed in June. There will be an in-door and out-door bar with a garage that will open up on days with nice weather.

The beers that will be served range from sours, lagers, stouts and other craft beers. Town will also have full-service kitchen serving small-plate dishes. Some of the dishes will be in collaberation with neighboring business, Rhino Market.

The owner of this property is Matt Browder and he also owns Rhino Market and Wooden Robot, a brewery located in SouthEnd.

The ultimate goal for this brewery is to serve as a get away and not just a bar for it’s customers.
