A life of a cat — Chapter 1: Oh, the life

This is a story my daughter is working on. As such, the following is a direct transcription of her draft for chapter 1. Updates every Sunday.
Sitting by the fireplace, I sat firmly. My paws began to shake. It was true, I wouldn't stop shaking if I kept on eating. As I got out of my fluffy bed, I slipped on a mouse toy. I got up, rubbing my mixed, colored fur. "I-It won't be easy-", I said meowing. I grabbed my food bowl and ate.
My owner didn't care. All he did was take a bite of his pancakes and said "Get over it, you little cat!". The next day, I went over to the backyard and went over the fence.
