Tulum Cheese (Erzincan)

There are plenty of types of Tulum Peyniri through of all Türkiye, Tulum Peyniri more like a generic name of cheeses today we are going to talk about Erzincan Tulum Peyniri.

A bit sour, quite strong earthy flavour texture is quite unique then any cheese in the world, wet solid texture at the same time.

It can be made of by raw cow, goat or sheep milk but to get better taste it should be made of sheep or goat or mix of them.

It has to be mature at least one year in goat skin to achieve final maturity and should keep in cold, traditionally caves.
