Choosing the right indoor plant for the right location may be a heck of a task. Need of indoor plants starts from an interior decoration perspective but then your mind starts to work and creepy thoughts start to set in. Will it be safe for my children and pets? Will the plants attract bugs and insects to my home? It will clean air but what about night will it exhale poisonous gases?

WHAT ARE THE LOCATIONS FOR INDOOR PLANTS?

Well, nowadays you have indoor plants that you can plant at any location in your home especially if it’s a new home you should be looking to plant a lot of them. Below are the specific locations in your new home where you’re looking to plant.

LIVING ROOM

Choice of indoor plants in the living room depends mainly on your own choice, mood, and conditions. While living room acts as a heart to your house where all family members spend time together and rejoice with each other. So, the correct choice can either enhance or deteriorate your mood.

For a living room with bright to medium indirect sunlight and humid conditions with lots of space vertically and horizontally the suggested plant is kentia palm. Its dense and lush green leaves soothe the eyes of the viewer while giving a rain forest look.

If you’re looking for a sleek tall plant with big leaves then you should choose the fiddle leaf fig plant. This is a popular plant that enhances your house looks by its beautiful glossy leaves growing up to 6 feet tall. But beware as this plant is toxic to humans, cats, and dogs. So, choose this plant if you’re generally careful.

Everyone wants to be comfortable while having dinner or lunch and to create that sort of ambiance planting indoor plants seems to be a nice idea!!

Choose plants for the dining room wisely if you fancy having your lunch or dinner in a room with large windows where direct sunlight has easy access then try planting succulents and croton.

Right choice of plants in your bedroom can not only beautify your interior but also can let you feel better mentally and physically. While choosing the wrong plant can not only irritate you but may release poisonous gases giving your health a dent.

Firstly, from an interior design view planting a parlor palm might be a great option because of its looks and low light requirements it is a great option in your bedroom while also deterring pests like spider mites.

Along with parlor palm, there are other options for your bedroom having a greater health advantage than the former. These include small hanging plants like English ivy, snake plant, and spider plant.

When talking about planting in the kitchen people generally presume of vegetable plants and they are right to some extent but in recent times planting indoor plants is trending along with traditional kitchen gardens.

The number one suggestion for any kitchen is planting mint. This plant shows the characteristics of weeds but looks and smells wonderful. On the other hand, it just doesn’t require much care with the ability to grow in full and partial sun conditions, and don’t forget what you need in your recipes.

Along with all other benefits, it’s also good for your skin and you can apply its liquid for skin treatment. (it’s non-toxic as well!!!).

No direct light in your bathroom no worries have a go at planting Boston fern in your bathroom to give it an aesthetic look. This hardy plant thrives in dark rooms but needs sufficient watering.

Plants can help you concentrate on your workout. Furthermore, they may boost your productivity and may help you give your best shot every time you for a workout.

Advice: If you’re susceptible to being bitten by an insect-like mosquito you should be looking to plant lemongrass, lavender, and basil in your gym rather than wearing full sleeves and applying mosquito repellant.

Finally, the place in your house that’s most important for creating an impression is your entrance lobby. This location is worked upon by interior designers to give create a hard impression on your mind and to attract potential customers. Of course, you want to plant the best of them to attract!!

Look for a string of pearls plant in your local market because it is worth searching for. It looks like a string of green pearl hanging and is vulnerable to getting a lot of attention!
