Hello, MetaChess community, we hope you’re all well!

We have an exciting Q2 ahead of us. We hope to release the Land Lease feature and implement the tournament feature and Treasure Quest game mode. We also plan to launch custom models, in-game advertising and our coaching platform, as well as make sure reward smart contracts are up and running. Finally, we plan to list on a DEX exchange.

Perhaps more notably, we have our IDO ahead of us, but more on that later.

Today, we want to talk to you about our INO that we’ll hold soon. This is your chance to get your hands on a MetaChess NFT before the mainstream does.

What is an INO?

INO stands for “initial NFT offering”. It’s a fundraising//crowdfunding method where NFTs are sold on a launchpad or site for a specified amount of time. The process functions similar to IDOs, except that they involve buying NFTs instead of the native token.

We showed some of those in our Warfront sneak peek. During the INO, we will reveal yet another set of our ruthless and fierce-looking warriors that you’ll be able to own as NFTs!

What do MetaChess NFTs do?

On our platform, you can use the NFTs you own in the metaverse and our chess games.

First, MetaChess NFTs offer a unique way of digitizing chess pieces and collectibles.

But it’s not all play.

NFTs can unlock even more earning potential in the MetaChess universe. To make income, you can buy, hold, rent and sell NFTs. You can also create your very own NFTs on our platform, which you can use to make money as well!

Whether you’ve been rewarded with an NFT for your vast knowledge and unmatched skills, or you’ve created one of your own, your earning potential will be limited only by your imagination. Maybe you want to coach someone, but your young students want to look cool on the battlefield? Well, you’ll be able to rent them one of your NFTs if they don’t want to create their own.

In all, these NFTs will serve as collectibles, as well as have special features and capabilities coded into them to help you play to earn.

Where will we host our INO?

MetaChess has partnered with Babylons to host an INO.

We just entered a partnership with Babylons, a GameFi and NFT launchpad, to host our first INO. Here are the details:

Date: April 19 at 12pm UTC
What’s for Sale? 200 mystery boxes and 360 battle arenas
There will be 2 types of mystery boxes with 6 different characters inside (King, Queen, Rook, Bishop, Knight and Pawn).
There will be 3 types of battle arenas.
Price: 150 BUSD for the mystery boxes; 50 BUSD for the battle arenas

We’re currently looking at a variety of other popular and accessible launchpads and platforms. Even though currently we don’t have all the specifics yet, we will keep you up to speed through our social media. Stay tuned to our channels for updates!

About MetaChess

MetaChess is the first 3D multiplayer play-to-earn (P2E) and NFT metaverse chess game. The platform is in 2D and 3D. The 3D version will be divided into two. The first part is the regular chess game, with traditional chess pieces in 3D. The second part is more animated and fancy. It consists of chess pieces in the form of humanoid characters. You can own NFTs (unique chess pieces) which will be used in the game. The platform also has play-to-earn (P2E) models that make it worth players’ time. The 2D version is currently playable. You can either play with AI or play with another user.
