Lego Build 118 — Eagle

The Fourth Succession war and the following conflicts, including the Clan Invasion, would lead to a high rate of attrition among the military forces of the Inner Sphere, at a rate not seen since the Second Succession War. This, along with the re-discovery of advanced technologies and the creation of new ones, led to an explosion in the development of BattleMechs and other military gear. Several companies attempted to capitalize on that and while some invested greatly in these new technologies, others went the opposite way.

Developed by the same company that created the Wraith, the Eagle was only half as big as its bigger brother, and aimed at a different niche of the market. A simple machine, the Eagle was an attempt to bring a large gun to the field at a relatively small price while retaining the advantages of being a BattleMech — maneuverability and sensor fusion.

Like the Wraith, this machine wasn’t bound to a state entity, but instead it was released on the free market. This led it to become quite common among mercenary outfits and also Periphery powers. St. Ives would use it extensively against the Capellan invaders during the border conflict in the early 3060s.

Like in the lore, this model is relatively simple. It uses 42 parts, which is a bit for such a light ‘Mech, but it allowed me to cram in as much detail as I could. This model comes in Aurigan Reach colors, but you can make it in whatever colors you want, of course.

Thank you so much for all of your support. Let me know your thoughts.

Now go out there play games and enjoy your lives.
