Tiny Warship 11 — Fredasa Corvette

This is my third take on this specific ship. The two first are now essentially too large. Under the new scale I’ve decided to work on, the Fredasa needed yet another update. Still based on Delranes Fighting Ship’s reimagining, it is a small, compact model.

This vessel is essentially a raider, smaller even than an escort. It is incredibly fast and equipped with advanced sensors. Furthermore, it equips a powerful autocannon in the front arc that allows it to engage even ships much larger than itself.

During the war against the Word of Blake (at least in my AU) Fredasas made the bulk of both Nova Cat and Ghost Bear fleets, scouting ahead of the main forces, attacking supply convoys, and hunting targets of opportunity. This role would lead them to tangle with Blakist Vincent transport ships.

At this point I’m quite used to the shape of this take on the Fredasa. Even so, it took me a quile to make the ship even smaller. This is why I’m showing a base I’m not really happy with, but I wanted to get it done anyhow.

It takes 22 parts, plus the base. It is easy to make but some parts aren’t easy to find. I had to use two Travis bricks to make the core of the ship, but these are seldom readily available. The rest of the ship is built around this keel, with the engine blocks and the details of the prow set over it.
