“If you want to teach people a new way of thinking, don’t bother trying to teach them. Instead, give them a tool, the use of which will lead to new ways of thinking.” — Buckminster Fuller

Many subjects did not realize that the lessons from their lives that were transfromed, saved and changed can be derived as reference building modules akin anti-bodies to save more lives. Just as personalized medicine, these modules can be re-purposed and re-tailored to save more lives and create more quality lives.

Test Subject #0042: How is the 100 Day Game misunderstood?
Ans: Doing something for 100 days is not the 100 Day Game. People don’t get it because they don’t get reasons behind the 3 Cardinals. They keep missing it along the way. The 100 Day Game is deceivingly simple. What it is about is more like hunting the mind, and regaining control over it. We know that the mind is illusive. Once you know how to hunt for Kairos, you can capture the mind. However, without following it closely, you can lose it. You have to log, it is not as simple as most people think. You cannot control what you cannot understand or just have an illusion that you understand it, of which it will eventually escape your control if you do not apprehend it.

Caveat: Please be reminded that doing things for 100 day is not 100 Day Game. The Central Dogma of the 100 100 Day Game is to get the 3 core principles (aka Cardinals) for 100 Days. Hence, please keep the 3 Cardinals in mind during and through out the game. Till date, there is no one who cannot pass P1 if they follow the 3 Cardinals.

Test Subject #063D: What is the 100 Day Game about?
The 100 Day Game is a system of self-discovery, innovation, engineering, transmutation and transformation. It is to enhance self-control to gain the faculties and facilities for the ascendancy towards situation management. By conditioning and re-progamming one’s behavior, in the longer term, it causes the re-wiring of our neurological structure. Therein, changing ourselves to set for the change of conditions and events around us. We are part of the system. Hence, if we change ourselves, it would be a step towards changing our fate. The scheme is a means to do so.

Test Subject #004C: What if I am too anxious and exhausted to do anything in life? I have too much worries, I can’t free up my mind.
Test Subject #004A: If one is depressed, sad, mentally drained and body weak… how productive can the person be?
Ans: This is exactly the reason why you play this game. It’s the other way round. We want to build the person and empower the person to take back the control of their mind. With their new found skills and behavior, they will take back the control of their situations. If they are in their status quo, they will continue their entrapment. The first action they take on the game is already the first step to take back that control.

This has also related to having no motivation and purpose, and the lack of sources for mental energy. (also refer to Question(s) from Test Subject #0052, Test Subject #004E, and Test Subject #0044 on motivation)

Test Subject #0052: What if I am not motivated?
Ans: The 100 Day Game does not motivate. There is no motivation — zero. The methodology is different from the ones that are found in any common motivation books. It is systematic conditioning. The common motivation does not last. There is also no one-size-fits-all motivation. Everyone’s motivation is different, hence, the scheme directs the subject to calibrate their moods in order to conduce their mode of operation. You find your motivation or you just adhere to Cardinal 2. The only question there is — “How badly do you want to go beyond your status quo or misery?” This is the only question. When you answer that. You decide whether or not you will do it — there is no try.

Motivation is the core fuel. Insight is the core lore and logic. These 2 are the assets to any operation, and this is what the `100 Day Game` is mining. — 2015–02.24

The 100 Day Game does not motivate. … It is systematic conditioning. The common motivation does not last. There is also no one-size-fits-all motivation. Everyone’s motivation is different …

Test Subject #004E: Why is there no scheme of motivation in the 100 Day Game?
Test Subject #0044: Where is the motivation in Project `Ayahuasca`?

Ans: Project `Ayahuasca` (a.k.a. “The 100 Day Game”) does not include motivation, it would be a lie to give one because everyone is motivated by different things though the fundamental needs was defined by Maslow. There may be similar principles, but the game aids you to find your own motivation. It is part of hunting for Kairos. The same reason why everyone’s Kairos and Anti-kairos are different. Everyone starts from zero. Hence, Project `Ayahuasca` uses a different approach. It guides you find your own motivation, by understanding yourself first, through self discovery. Once you know yourself, you state your motives, and it will form the structure and foundations of your motivations. If you do it the other way, it will be transient, unstable and mere `feel-good` for the moment. However, on a daily mental refinement using the journals, you establish a gradual deep-root, concrete `think-clear` for an enduring effect. It sets the foundation for repeating success based on logical approach.

Project `Ayahuasca` uses strategic methodologies (e.g. Chaining Milo Paradigm) and provide a framework scheme. It was designed to help people find their optimality, through mining optimal conditions and personal mental and physical states, hence, deriving their Kairos (doing the right thing in the right way in the right place to the right people at the right time), and countering their Anti-kairos to resolve hindering or even self-paralyzing beliefs or situation. It gives you back the control of yourself, by methodologically working on yourself (Phase 1 and 2), and then it gives you back the control of your life by methodologically working on the situation (Phase 3 and 4).

A friend told me that his friend claimed that he purchased motivation event ticket for $1500 within his program. He also stated that many people attend popular self-help seminars that last for 2 to 5 days, $5000 for front seat in some seminars, and do some confidence game on the last day, then they go back home motivated — for just 1 week.

This is because they just sit there passively and listen. The most they get out of it is a shot of ephemeral dopamine effect— like any weekend religious experience. But for this game, it conditions you for 100 Days.

You should never break the chain. As it creates inertia just when you are gaining momentum. The 100 Day Game stated Cardinal 2 to deter chain breaking. You keep doing until it becomes you. When you stop after the 100 Day, you should find yourself performing automatically under the after-effect of the conditioning.

Yesterday was Saturday. Test Subject #0055 had paused Phase 2 since 18 Jan. Yet, we observed that he had hardly missed a day of gym. According to logs, he hardly missed a day of coding. In fact, he just submitted a code module a few hours ago. Test Subject #0055 hardly lost a day of reading too. Yesterday, he logged notes on 80 pages of business statistics which he is currently reading.

ps. Note that Pneuma is the hardest.

Test Subject #0052: What if `Ayahuasca` does not make me feel good?
Ans: Project `Ayahuasca` is not designed to make people feel good. It was designed to move people forward and upward. It’s a journey that does not see the destination, it may never, but you know you are moving. If you plan the right way, you will be moving closer, and it does include the attested ways from diligent and continuous experiments. The fundamental point is the alternative of doing nothing at all is never a better progress. Till date, the team does not stop looking for exceptions on how it may not work for certain people. Project `Ayahuasca` is not a perfect system, there may never be one, but it is always on the move — like the 100 Day Game itself, and it is evolving as it moves on.

Test Subject #004A: I am still trying to reconcile the relationship between states, phases and 4 domains. What are the states and phases?
Ans: Each 100 Day has a `Phase`. Every time, you change or adjust your plan it is a `state`. Your state can be progressive, regressive or stagnant.
There is no win or lose in that change of `states`. It just inform how you are taking it and how you are adjusting your plans to ensure no burn-out and yet trying to progress. It may also indicate you are over-ambitious or over-conservative in planning. It only depends how you are taking it and how you are adjusting your plans to ensure no burn-out and yet trying to progress. It may also indicate you are over-ambitious or over-conservative in planning.

Test Subject #004A: When you talk of an anger event, is it related to Pneuma or Psyche?
Ans: Pneuma is character (self-control and self-will). Psyche is mental faculties (intelligence)

Test Subject #004A: As to Opus, I often see that domain as directly related to the 3 other domains (i.e. Pnuema, Psyche, Soma) in a sense.
Ans: Opus is different only in the sense that it is target for work related. eg. If I learn physics or French (Psyche domain), my job may not require it. They may or may not be related. If you want to make it overlap, it is possible as well. It will make it easier, since you are scoring in 2 area at the same time. If you want to extend another subject (non-overlapping), it makes the games harder.

Test Subject #004A: I find it tedious to record.
Ans: Many said the same. However, you require the `monologuing`, and the mind will look for the answer. I just program the system into the person. The answer will find you.

Let’s try a 1 sample test. Let’s say I ask you a question — can you choose not to answer me?
By conscious effort — perhaps, but can you hear your mind searching for that answer automatically? Observe what happens to the mind when it hears a question. Once you start asking a question, recording and developing it — your mind hunts for the answer. It is due to part of the Zeigarnik effect.

Another example: Have you realized that when you do something, many people seems to be doing the same?

It’s just your mind starting to pick up the pattern — without you knowing. It’s always there, but once you are involved, your mind starts capturing.

Test Subject #004E: What is the 1 thing that worries you?
Ans: Project `Ayahuasca` will be a vault to hold the most intimate secrets of a person, perhaps including the darkest ones. It subsumes his/her daily(s), likes, dislikes, physical abilities and disabilities, emotional strengths and lacks, life plans, stories, and progress, and all sorts of propensities. It can even delineate his/her limits and confines, as well as deepest desires. If this falls into the wrong hands, it can manipulate the subject, possibly into a consumption, political propensity or poll, and/or even into a religion.

Test Subject #0044: How do you know if it works?
Ans: It was derived from failed attempts and methodologies from the past. I wanted it free because we have seen that it can prevent suicides largely driven by depression. We knew for a long time that exercise by itself cannot help, and is never the sufficient answer. We tested that several times to be sure, and we will continue to test it to failure and to evolve it beyond it’s confines. Now, we want a tech to guide the human. Scientific journalizing with data is the key to steering the human destiny. Without data, you can’t measure nor review, or work on to form methods to make adjustments, enhancements or to deal with the situation you may be facing in life.

To show that there is a functional difference, we ask Test Subjects to conduct `Code 159` as the crucible. It is definitive from `Code 159` that Test Subjects is able do and function in their daily lives in which they were not able to before.

Test Subject #0052: How do you prove that `Psyche` will work?
Ans: It will but it may not be obvious. I made an observation related to this question. People who realized it earlier that it will are usually academia. They can tell the `delta` before and after because they can see from their daily mental labor.

Despite all the social excuses we will hear, it is arduous, but if we can do a fMRI before and after, there is neurogenesis and cerebral reformation. It will never be provable for those who will not continue the conditioning, because they won’t even abide long enough to allow for the cerebral change. Yet again, people who think they will see an effect within a short time, like within a few days, may be incorrect as well. As it may be due to a self-assuring affirmation. The better way is to audit your logs and measure the scores with the tools.

It won’t show until an anomaly situation occurs and the `Psyche` abilities kick it to handle it. It could be as simple as having a conversation with a scientist in the field. There, the `delta` will be demonstrated. You will think, say and even do things in the manner of which you formerly will not be able to do so if you had not worked to acquire those abilities through the conditioning scheme.

Test Subject #0052: What if people don’t follow through the `100 Day Game`, isn’t it a proof of failure of the game?
Ans: True enough that the game was not made absolutely ‘tasty’. As it is, there are distasteful parts, e.g. some people don’t like to do journaling.
If this is part of the medical treatment, and if the medicine is already working for some people, would it be a failure because some people don’t take the medicine or medical scheme? Clearly, if we are ill, we require some attention to the matter, not ignore it. How would we blame the medicine when we do not take it seriously or take partial prescription? I am clear that there is still ‘bitterness’ to the medicine and other incompleteness which we should find ways to innovate on, such as non-obstructive sensors to detect serotonin and cortisol levels. We require people to come together to work, but in this premise, we are pointing at the wrong problem. Patients have to be sincere and serious work out the scheme for themselves.

Test Subject #004B: What is the challenge you think that the 100 day game will face?
Ans: The 100 Day Game is tested and we checked that several times. However, from observation, even when the Test Observers seen the effects themselves and know much of the details, they still lack the motivation to apply on themselves. We even analyze the logs of the Test Observers who are assisting the programs.

That was why I had been thinking that Project `Ayahuasca` will have an adoption problem later. The solution is right but the people will not root for it. It’s what I coined as the `feel-good` versus `think-clear` preference distortion. For example, we know that even if the health benefits of bitter melons are published, no one will eat it. It is just too bitter. Journalizing is the same. People won’t do it because rationalizing is too bitter for their daily lives. This is even clearer for us who have been looking at so many test logs. The average person is on very low “energy budget” today.

Public Query: If I complete Project Ayahuasca — Phase 1, would I gain control over my mind and train it to be extremely focused and resilient , but lose other mental advantages?
Ans: Project Ayahuasca is the code-name for finding methods to elevation optimal human performance. The 100 Day Game was the derived base scheme that simplifies and hides 3 cardinals to aid the human to go beyond their present state in a form of a game.

You can use it as a framework, but read carefully and plan it to your design. The 100 Day Game only tells you the `how`, but not the `what` or `why`. You have to find your `why`, though in another article, we suggested an ethos to the search for meaning and virtues for the human spirit to thrive.

Completing Phase 1 is only a step. Each Phase has different design objectives.
Phase 1 : was designed to give back the control to the person. It is the initial conditioning Phase to guide the person to learn about themselves and gain back that control.

Phase 2 : was designed to guide the person to go beyond themselves after able to use the methods to keep progressing on their plans and design in Phase 1, and with caveats to `making not breaking` themselves. In Phase 2,

In Phase 2, the focus begins on strategic interactions and management with the factors of the person. The decision making game is to maximize the performance gain outcome given the entirety period of the game, i.e. 100 day in this case, with the least effort. This dictates the course of actions that will lead us to set our state for the final behavioral patterns adjusted and conditioned. All factors call for attention for resources of energy and time. Hence, the way we orchestrate them makes that difference to gain the maximal gain.

Phase 3 : was designed to guide the person to go beyond managing and controlling themselves, and extend to managing their situations. When we reach Phase 3, the factors involves the subject’s situation and involve other external factors around us, including social interactions. Phase 3 is about returning to the 1st question in Phase 1 — creating those conditions that condition us. We called it “Engineering the Laplacian Oracle”.

There are other phases, but we will discuss to Phase 3 for now. Phase 1, Phase 2 and `Code 159` are well tested. Phase 3 and other phases are all still under testing today (May 2020), and need more data and re-verification.

Public Query: Should I do the Holodeck Technique first or Ayahuasca — Phase I, or in tandem?
Ans: Everyone should start with Phase 1. They can’t do high phases without first attenting the functions and abilites of the initial phases.

Phase 1, Phase 2 , etc, and `Code 159`, are schemes. Holodeck Techniques, and others, are suggested techniques to help with the scheme. There are resources which we released for people to use. Here are some other resources to help:

Notes On Depression

According to research published in the neurology journal Brain, depression results from connection pattern changes in a key area of the brain called the orbifrontal cortex (OFC). The researchers used a high-precision MRI to scan the brains of more than 900 people, of which 421 were patients with major depressive disorder. They found that feelings of loss and low self-esteem are directly linked to two sides the OFC — the medial OFC and the lateral OFC. The medial OFC, which fires up when we receive rewards, showed reduced functional connectivity in depression. This explains why people with depression feel a sense of loss, disappointment, and low self-esteem. Furthermore, this also leads to weaker memory system functional connectivity in the hippocampus (the brain’s memory center). The lateral OFC, on the other hand, exhibited stronger functional connectivity in persons with depression. This sector of the OFC is involved in non-reward and punishing events. The lateral OFC displayed strong connections with the precuneus (related with the sense of self) and the angular gyrus (responsible for memory retrieval and attention), making it difficult for depressed persons to feel good about themselves due to easy recall of negative experiences. This study could allow us to dramatically improve the lives of millions around the world, and could lead to treatment better than the current hit-and-miss approach. Credits: University of Warwick

The foolish thing with the world on dealing with depression is that instead of changing the conditions of the person that is causing the depression, we condition the person to endure the conditions that are causing it, and we convince the person that he is the problem instead of getting him/her to solve it universally. — 2023–06.21

I realized deeply now that the Game is more important than I thought, we can give the next generations- better parents, better teachers, better leaders, — better people.
