Key Highlights for 2018

The year 2018 is in the past and we’d like to summarize in one article what we, Mile Unity Foundation (MUF), have accomplished until now. In a very short time we did a lot of things, from meeting with ministers and even presidents of different countries to signing up partnership agreements with several top international trade associations and state-owned departments.

July

In July Mile Unity Foundation was publicly launched. This was 7 months, so you’ll be amazed how much we did during this period. At the time MILE blockchain had already been in full operation in 2017, providing free, fast and secure transactions with a stable unit of account tied to IMF SDR.

This month’s Karma, P2P lending platform, that had successfully raised 10M $ during ICO, had officially declared partnerships with MUF in various areas.

August

In August MUF started to hire ambassadors whole over the world. Nilesh Neel became our ambassador in India

George Goognin, MUF Board Member, visited China to host educational seminars on the topic of cryptocurrency and blockchain, where he met with government officials.

MUF started to cooperate with Global Silk Road Association and particularly with its head Bolat Smagulov, who became the Mile Unity Ambassador in Kazakhstan.

September

In September the Mile Unity Foundation embassy was opened in Seoul. South Korea’s Ambassador is Joseph Choi.

Also in September MUF and the Brazil Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed anagreement on collaboration in the field of blockchain-technology, that was widely reported in the local press.

Mile Unity Foundation representatives also visited Beijing and met with ambassadors and Central bank representatives.

October

In this month we met with the president of Namibia to discuss the adoption of blockchain. There was also a meeting with Minister of Investments in Namibia and with representatives of the Ugandan Central Bank.

MUF diplomatic mission visited Turkey to meet with Trading and Industry Chambers, major Universities and President’s Administration.

Mile Unity Foundation also discussed integration of blockchain technology in real economy with China’s SRCIC and China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC).

In October Dima Vol, Mile Unity Board Member Joined London’s Exclusive Private Club Meeting on Stablecoins Future where he participated in the panel discussion.

November

In November MILE coin was listed on BitForex, Top-10 crypto exchange in the world in terms of trading volume, according to Coinmarketcap. And according to Business Insider, after the listing MILE capitalization was listed at $1.7 billion.

In the same month we clutched a deal to launch several pilot projects to integrate blockchain into the Kazakhstan economy. According to a memorandum of understanding and partnership signed by both the Mile Unity Foundation and the Office for Investment and Entrepreneurship Development of Astana, the MILE blockchain is set to provide that support as a transparent mechanism for distributing private capital to the appropriate infrastructure projects.

In the same month MUF and Blockcloud officials met in Shenzhen to discuss common interests and possible cooperation. Blockcloud is a blockchain project that has successfully raised through token sale several month ago almost 5K ETH.

December

In December there was an important event — the world’s first international legal transaction with XDR stablecoin was made between South Korea and Russia. XDR is a stablecoin within MILE ecosystem.

MUF officials visited Brazil and discussed cryptocurrency regulation with the Brazilian SEC and local ministers.

We continued to develop worldwide ambassadors, particularly new representatives joined our team in Spain (Sunnil Thambi) and Benin (Auguste Aimontche).

In December trading of MILE and XDR reached its all time high and continued to grow at the moment of writing this report in January (more info: explorer.mile.global). Particularly MILE coin daily trading volume now is in the range of $15–20M.
