Are you familiar with the process of flashing Qualcomm Stock firmware using the QFIL Tool? If not, then there is no need for concern. Using the Qualcomm Flash Image Loader (QFIL) Tool, this article will walk you through the steps necessary to install the official stock ROM on any Qualcomm smartphone. You are aware that the vast majority of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Android devices must be in Fastboot mode in order to install an official software update. In addition, certain original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) install stock firmware files using their very own proprietary Android flashing tool.

When it comes to their mobile devices, Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco all use the Mi Flash Tool, while Samsung uses Odin. In addition, Sony offers the Sony Mobile Flasher Tool, and LG offers the LG Flash Tool as well as the LGUP Tool. You can update the firmware on your Spreadtrum Android device by using the SPD Research Tool, SPD Flash Tool, or SPD Factory Tool. These tools are available to anyone who owns a Spreadtrum Android device. In addition, owners of MediaTek Android devices make use of the well-known SP Flash Tool. Similarly, QFIL is utilised by phones that are powered by Qualcomm.

All of these stock firmware flashing tools require that you put your Android device into a certain mode/interface, such as Download mode, Fastboot Mode, etc., before they will work. No worries, if your phone is completely dead and won’t even boot into fastboot or download mode, you’re not out of luck. Is flashing a factory image back onto your phone still an option? A resounding “yes” describes the correct response. The Qualcomm Flash Image Loader Tool is all that’s required.

QFIL Flash Tool can be used to unbrick and restore factory settings after a phone has been bricked while attempting to flash TWRP, OrangeFox recovery, or any Custom ROM. Also, flashing a stock ROM is the best option if your phone is experiencing problems such as a boot loop or a black screen. Qualcomm Flash Tool makes it simple to manually update your device to the latest official Stock firmware, as most manufacturers use Qualcomm chipsets.

Steps to Use QFIL Tool to Flash Stock Firmware

  • You can extract the Qualcomm Stock Firmware by downloading the.zip file and doing so on your personal computer.
  • Install Qualcomm Flash Image Loader (QFIL) Tool on your personal computer by downloading and unzipping it.
  • In the folder that was extracted from QFIL, you will find the following files:
  • Double-click QFIL.exe.
  • Performing this action will cause the QFIL Tool to appear on your screen.
  • Flat Build should be selected in the section titled “Build Type.”
  • Stop using your Android device and turn it off.
  • After you have turned off your device, press and hold the Volume Up button for a few seconds.
  • At the same time, make sure that your device is connected to the computer by means of a USB cable.
  • In the section labeled Select Programmer, select Browse. Next, look for the Qualcomm firmware file, which should be in either MBN or ELF format (for instance, prog emmc firehose 8x10.mbn).

In a similar fashion, select the XML-formatted RawProgram (rawprogram unsparse upgrade.xml) and Patch files (Patch0.xml) from the drop-down menu after clicking the Load XML button.

These RawProgram and Patch files are already a part of the firmware file, so there’s no need to download them separately. If you cannot find these files, it is likely that your hardware or firmware does not run XML applications. If that’s the case, you can move on. Additionally, it’s important to remember that there could be more than one raw programme file. By selecting rawprogram unsparse upgrade.xml, you can rest assured that your data will remain safe throughout the upgrade process. However, IMEI, WiFi/Bluetooth Address, and RF Calibration information will be lost if the rawprogram unsparse.xml file is chosen.

The flashing procedure can then begin by clicking the Download button.
