Featuring the Natural History Museum in Aarhus, Denmark

Human skeleton with animal skeletons in the background

I was lucky to study at Aarhus University in Denmark for half a year as part of an Erasmus Exchange program. Being a Biology student allowed me to visit the Natural History Museum for free whenever I felt like it.

Climate action goal 13 is displayed saying: we must stop the Earth from getting warmer.
Main focus: climate action

The building is bigger than you would expect on first sight, with four floors and many different exhibitons. There is a lot to learn about climate, space, wildlife and birds. Focusing especially on our role in climate change, everything is portrayed in an innovated way. This post contains my top picks from several visits to the Natural History Museum; enjoy!

Three stuffed wolves: one standing in the foreground, two playing in the background
Embryo embedded in white kind of stone
Stuffed polar bear displayed while eating all kinds of plastic
Stuffed tiger with fur fighting with a tiger without fur (displaying the bones)
