54% of White people voted for Trump in 2016; many will do so again in 2020.

My White friends wanted to know what I was doing to ensure that my Black friends and families voted. Here is some tough love: 54% of White people voted for Donald Trump in 2016. Have we forgotten that? Look in the mirror: what are you doing to ensure less than 50% of your racial group votes for the current president?

223,000 Americans have died from COVID-19. Our federal government has given up — behaving as if COVID-19 is under control. It is not. We need a change. Predictions say that at least 60 million people will take advantage of early or mail-in voting in the 2020 elections. People want their votes counted so are taking advantage of all methods of voting.

The pandemic’s winter surge is here. Cases are growing again. There is no national plan as the virus rages. It doesn’t matter what your positivity numbers are; unless we get the pandemic under control, we are in deep yogurt. …
