It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for! We are pleased to introduce our first speakers for ng-cruise!

After a vast number of CFP submissions and working together to bring diversity in content, we’re kicking off with these rockstars. We hope you join us on ng-cruise to hear about the great projects and problems our speakers have been working on to push forward our community.

We’ll have talks focused on reactive programming paradigm, user interfaces, the newest news in tools like Angular-CLI, new ways to approach reusable components with new design patterns, and much more.

Here’s a bit about each speaker and what they’re bringing to the cruise.

Introducing our Keynote Speakers, Jeff Cross and Victor Savkin

Jeff Cross (@jeffbcross) is a member of the Angular core team at Google, and leads the Angular Mobile team, focusing on making angular a great platform for building mobile applications. Jeff has an extensive background in open source software, marketing, and user experience design.

Victor Savkin (@victorsavkin) makes Angular, as he so humbly says to people who ask. But he is best known for being the author of the latest Angular router and a prolific Angular blogger. He also toys with eclectic programming technologies and obsesses over fonts and keyboard layouts.

Jeff and Victor will also be giving separate talks during our conference, to be announced shortly.

Introducing RxJS by Example with Ben Lesh

Learn from the author of RxJS himself how to use RxJS and Angular 2 together. Learn how to implement a real world feature in Angular 2 with RxJS that composes user interactions, animations, AJAX and cancellation at the same time.

Ben Lesh (@BenLesh) is a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix, lead author and developer of RxJS 5 (a rewrite of RxJS with goals of better performance), advisor to the Angular team on Rx integration, co-author of redux-observable, and co-founder of This Dot Inc and RxWorkshop (reactive training).

Introducing Angular-CLI with Mike Brocchi

The go-to tool for Angular is the CLI, but it’s still in its infancy. Mike Brocchi (@Brocco), Google Developer Expert and collaborator on the Angular CLI project knows just how far the CLI can go. It may be a new tool for many, but it’s features are growing rapidly and listening to this talk will be the best way to keep up to date.

The CLI will make any developer’s life easier with new features Mike will announce, special customizations and much more!

Introducing CaaS, Components as a Service with Aaron Frost

Aaron Frost (@js_dev) wants to change how we handle reusable components of Angular templates. He aspires to teach us a different design pattern in the name of performance. That pattern is components as a service.

Learn about this new pattern with Aaron on ng-cruise!

Introducing Animations in Angular 2 with Alyssa Nicoll

Side by side with her toothless dog, Gummy, Alyssa Nicoll (@AlyssaNicoll) is passionate about learning new things and sharing them with others. She is a Google Developer Expert and is passionate about making animations work for the user.

Learn how the psyche of the user works, the vitality of giving feedback and how to use CSS Animations to provide feedback and create a seamless flow between user and technology.

Introducing Tracy Lee, Co-Organizer and Hostess

Introducing Joe Eames, Co-Organizer and Panel Moderator

Introducing Gerard Sans, Co-Organizer and Panel Moderator
