In the wake of the leaked Supreme Court draft regarding Roe v. Wade, protesters gathered in front of the Supreme Court building. Here are the chants that I heard from the hour-long livestream by USA Today. They have been transcribed into staff notation to preserve rhythmic and pitch patterns.

I’m not sure I subscribe to some of these chants as a political tactic — i.e., cursing out individual judges is unlikely to convert anyone not already on side; however, political frames need to identify villains, and these same chants accomplished that task and galvanized the protesters. But I present all the chants I was able to hear, so that protesters can see and use them as they see fit, and so that we have a record of the protests as they happened.

UPDATE: A followup article on chants heard in protests around the US on May 3, 2022 is posted here. Chants from protests near justices’ houses are here. If you see any interesting chants on this issue, please post a link to a recording in the comments.
