Litentry — A Cross-chain Identity Aggregator
Litentry is a Decentralized Identity Aggregator that enables linking user identities across multiple networks. How to join event and get a PNS domain name?
- Participate in Litentry Crowdloan and make a contribution to 10 DOT or more. You can contribute to Litentry through the official channel or any decentralized channel such as:

3. Authorize access and choose the correct address

Please pay attention to the notes when applying your Domain name:
- The domain name should contains at least 10 characters
- Only English letters and digits are supported (No Special characters)
- Registration procedure follows the rule of first come, first served
5. Lock your favorite domain name and pay an annual fee. Lock your favorite domain name and pay an annual fee (The first 1000 contributors enjoy first year annual fee waiver.).
Pre-registration completed! You can share your joy with one click.
After pre-registration, we will lock the domain name for you and inform you on social channels once PNS officially launches. Please use the bound Polkadot wallet to activate your domain name. The domain name will be valid for 1 year after activation. After that, the annual fee will be $5/year through multiple token payments.
We offer a 3-month reservation period to those who have not activated the domain name after the pre-registration. The domain will be released and made available for public registration after locking time.
PNS and Litentry reserve the right to interpret and amend the rules and details of this event.
FAQs
Based on our previous experience, we have compiled a list of common questions as below, you may find the information you need and serve yourself.
Q1: I’m unable to process my pre-registration, how can I report the issue to PNS?
Before filing an issue, please make sure:
a. You input a domain name with at least 10 digits, and it contains only English letters and digits. Special characters are not supported.
b. You have already made contribution to Litentry through the official channel or decentralized channels such as: Litentry Crowdloan WebApp | Polkadot.js | Parallel | Bifrost
c. You have made contributions up to 10 DOT or more.
d. You are using a desktop browser with polkadot.{js}
If you have met all of the criteria but still fails to process the pre-registration, please specify the version of your PC OS and browser, the platform you made contribution, your wallet address, and attach an error code or screenshot to an issue report, then submit it to the channels below:

Q2: I’ve made a contribution to Litentry in the first round and successfully pre-registered a domain name. Can I use the same wallet address to make a contribution and pre-register another PNS domain name in this round?
A: Yes, you can.
Q3: I acknowledge that PNS also cooperates with other parachains too. Can I use the same wallet address to make contributions to two parachains and obtain preferential qualifications for two domain names?
A: Yes, if you use the same wallet to support different parachains and meet the minimum requirements respectively, you can get preferential domain name registration qualifications. After the Moonriver version of PNS is released, you can manage multiple domain names.
Q4: I have already contributed 5 DOT from the Litentry official. If I contribute 5 DOT via Bifrost, shall I be eligible for a free claim?
A: Yes, as long as you use the same Polkadot Wallet to contribute, it’ll work.
Q5: If Litentry does not win the auction in this batch, will my PNS domain name be revoked?
A: No, it won’t. As long as you successfully obtain the pre-registration qualification and lock the domain name during this Polkadot slot auction, your domain name will be retained.
Q6: When will PNS officially go online?
A: The Moonriver version of PNS is currently being tested and will be launched after the function is stable; the pallet deployment version of PNS will be launched after successful deployment on the cooperative parachain.
