Organize Your Life And Mind

Get your life together today with organization and streamlining your everyday life.

I will be discussing:

1. Don’t Trust Your Memory, Trust Your Notes
2. Backup Your Backups For Everything
3. Recycle, Reuse And Donate Old Items

And be sure to read my last blog on “Book Review: How to Create a Digital Vision Board for Free ( Mobile + Desktop )” & “FREE Download: January 2020 Desktop Wallpapers”.

If I could some up this book into one word it would have to be the word Dream: a cherished aspiration, ambition, or ideal for what their life will be and look like.

1. Don’t Trust Your Memory, Trust Your Notes

Now be honest, you have had days where you have tried to memorize or remember something and then moments later that thought feels miles away. But if we truly want to remember we should stop relying on our brain and instead rely on what we write down.

You can do this either with a standard pocket notebook or using the digital notes app on your phone. If you have a lot of ideas and topics to track then I strongly recommend color-coding or separating the different topics. Your notes are vital to how you get things done, they allow us to look back on past notes and use them as a reference for today.

2. Backup Your Backups For Everything

If you have ever had a file or a photo you needed to go missing or simply can’t be found, I strongly suggest you start using backups in your life. Make sure to back up all the files on your computer, I recommend using an external hardrive or flashdrive as well as using Google Drive.

To give your files a safe and stable home, if you’re on the fence about investing the time to backup your items. You should think back to a time where you’re locked out of your home and then you remembered you had a spare key under your mat or with your favorite neighbor.

If that backup didn’t exist you would likely be in panic mode searching for your keys to get inside, backups are our saving grace during emergencies. We may not know what the future holds but being prepared allows us to be fully prepared for whatever may happen and being able to recover when life doesn’t go as planned.

3. Recycle, Reuse And Donate Old Items

Don’t allow for last year’s junk take up space where your new opportunities should be. I’m sure you have closet filled with clothes you haven’t worn in months. Or books you have never even opened or read yet, these are items that are just in your living space but don’t have a purpose.

If so then there is a chance that you won’t use them ever or ever again, there are so many ways to rid yourself of these items. You can donate them to a charity that is close to your heart, or even selling them online. Some services pick up your items, get creative with the things you can’t seem to part with by searching online for new ways to reuse them.
