What is SnowPro Core Certification?
The SnowPro Core Certification was released in late 2019 and was latest updated on September 6, 2022 . The certification requires basic knowledge and best practices of:
- Data Loading and Transformation in Snowflake
- Virtual Warehouse Performance and Concurrency,
- DDL and DML Queries
- Using Semi-Structured and Unstructured Data
- Cloning and Time Travel
- Data Sharing, and Snowflake Account Structure and Management
It is also one of the prerequisite for all the advanced certification exams.
Exam Layout & Content
The Snowpro Core certification is a 2 hours test consist of total 100 questions. You need to score 750 ( correctly attempt 75 questions) to pass the examination.

Final Examination Tips
- The exam is pretty straight forward, just to check your snowflake theoretical knowledge. Unlike other certification exam this did not have any scenario-based questions.
