The scarcity mindset asks us, “What makes more sense — to play the game or to observe from the sidelines?”

Well, that depends on what we want.

Neither option is good nor bad, since the game was invented and so were the sidelines.

But, if it’s the only game being played and is objectively unfair, change feels imperative.

How do we change the game?

The scarcity mindset tells us we only have one option. Even if the probability is extremely low, the person who plays the game has a better chance of impacting it than the person who doesn’t play at all.

The possibility mindset diagrees.

The possibility mindset says we can invent a new game. We can inspire others to play the game we invent.

The possibility mindset says we can stop playing games all together. We can decide of new ways to participate and collaborate.

Instead of competing, we can create, contribute, give, distribute, share, show, teach, offer, and help.

To possibilities!
