A nation is a collective identity, a national identity, emerging from a combination of uniqueness in language, history, ethnicity, culture, territory, or society.

The more diverse a nation is, the more the beauty of inclusiveness and adaptability is tolerated, so it stands out to be loved by the world.

Flags serve as the pride of a nation. The colours, symbols, and design elements symbolize important aspects of the nation’s history, culture, values, and identity. For example, the colours represent ethnic groups, religions, or ideals like freedom and courage. Symbols like stars, crosses, or animals signify important historical events, geographic features, or national characteristics.

A nation works collectively to uphold her dignity so the flag flies high and is lifted with pride. To maintain the pride of a country is hard work. Integrity and honesty are important values to adhere to — the leaders and their people are duty-bound to follow these principles. Unity is the strength of a nation.

The beauty of a nation lies in the hands of its people. Everywhere you go, you are identified by your nationality. The first thing a person recognizes when you mention your nationality is its characteristics. The people collectively create the character of a nation. A nation’s depth lies in its values and its track record.

Leaders carry a heavy responsibility when a mandate is given to them. People emulate leaders. Isn’t that what is taught in our schools? Children grow up emulating their mentors in the educational institution.

Somehow, the world needs people to think and act for them. Hence, the leaders become their representatives.

A nation’s depth is in its values, and I stress that.

We judge a nation’s strength through its prosperity, and freedom of expression, to be one to uplift the nation. To share a collective voice to uplift the nation. The voice of the people must not be ignored.

It is difficult to have pride in a nation when corruption is prevalent everywhere. Once corrupt values set in, it is hard to root out greed and selfishness.

A good name for a country and its people is important so we live dignified lives.
