Sharing large files with Dropbox

The LiDAR and mapping files data can be quite large: too large to send via email.
I’ve found that the Dropbox service can be a great way to:
- accept data files from others (especially using a File Request)
- collaborating with others by sharing folders
- syncing files with mobile devices.
A free Dropbox accounts comes with 2Gb of storage. That’s enough for quite of lot of compressed LiDAR data.
If you sign up to Dropbox using this link, we’ll both get a free bonus 500Mb of extra storage space.
