Let’s begin with a quick monologue from the founder of Spooky Birds @sam__hain
“The whole idea of Spooky Birds came shortly after the announcement that shook the community. CC0. There’s your school of people who were dead pissed with the whole move by PROOF, and you’ve got your bunch of peeps who couldn’t care less.
We (the team and I) are a mixed bunch on the decision, and we’ve came to live with what is and decided to make the best out of the pickle. With Halloween coming around the corner and with the freemint meta running wild; we thought of having some fun to launch a freemint project without any expectation.
The more we delve into the ideation of the project, we realized that we as a team of multi-talented birbs have much to offer. With our expertise ranging from contract deployment to business development; we’ve decided to take this opportunity to launch a full fledged freemint PFP with 3 drops and heaps of utility.
1 month into the launching Spooky Birds on twitter, we have managed to secure an initial VC seed funding amounting to USD700,000. The team and I are head over heels with this achievement and will continue to bring the best to Spooky Birds. Trick-or-treat; the phrase to remember!”
