Time to reveal how we successfully launched our MVP of Bronze Digital Stadium, SportsFix OTT platform, across the ASEAN market!

In 2017, SportsFix launched its over-the-top (OTT) platform to live stream leagues and matches from the world’s most prestigious badminton tournament BWF World Championship 2018 to one of the world’s big five football leagues the Italian football league Serie A.

The MVP of Bronze Digital Stadium is a test drive of our platform to live stream more than 50 leagues and tournaments across eleven countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Brunei, Laos, and East Timor.

Our first phase in launching our product is a success! We now have a reach of well over 300M people in the ASEAN region. But how did we do it?

As much as we aim to cut the cord for you –eliminating middlemen to unbundle sports content and delivering each sports game right to your palm, the key factors of a successful business is not only our product: it is also our partnerships!

In our case, it is our partnerships with some of the biggest telecom partners in the ASEAN region, specifically in Indonesia and Malaysia. It’s been an exciting two years as we have been partnering with Malaysia-based operators of Digi, Celcom Axiata Berhad, Maxis, and U Mobile, and Indonesia-based operators Indosat and XL Axiata.

Telecom carriers are one of the key components in the value chain of our OTT streaming services. In return, we provided them with customer acquisition, churn, a unique offering and higher ARPU. And just like how other successful streaming platforms, such as Iflix did it, we did the same.

However, our partnership with telecom operators is only​ one part​ of ​our big strategy; to expand our potential reach to our user base in target markets​ utilizing the Bronze Stadium MVP (the OTT platform)​. Read more here to know our plan and strategy.

Partnering with telecom carriers, SportsFix establishes a proven channel partner to a consumer base. The telecom partnerships will allow unique marketing opportunities to transpire from hard bundling SportsFix content into telecom sim cards for accessing SportsFix’s digital stadium to FREE gigabyte data for live streaming matches, leagues, and tournaments.

Moving on to our second phase, we are stepping up our game!

We are soon delivering a self-contained economy of the Digital Stadium, combining blockchain technology to create trust and transparency. Our future platform will allow users to tokenize live game content using SportsFix Token (SFT), fuelling the ultimate streaming platform for fans to watch, connect, and be rewarded from their favourite clubs, sponsors, and communities!
