Friends actor’s response to the online hit laughs — “It wasn’t me”
Blackpool police released a picture of a thief who mistakenly reminded Ross of the Friends series.
We reported yesterday that Blackpool police in the UK had posted a picture of a man suspected of being involved in a theft on his Facebook page. The picture became an online hit when a large number of people claimed that the long-nail in the picture looks exactly the same in the Friends series by Ross starring David Schwimmer .
Blackpool police had even responded to commentators that Schwimmer had been in the United States at the time of the crime, but now the actor himself has taken a stand. Schwimmer testified that he did not, at least, lack a sense of humor when he added a video of himself carrying beer out of the store to his social media accounts.
The video is completely identical to a picture of a thief leaving a store full of beer.
In a caption, Schwimmer has written that he is not to blame.
“Dear authorities, I swear it wasn’t me. As you can see, I was in New York. I wish the Blackpool police good luck in their search.”
