If you grew up playing Neopets (which -gasp- is still operational!), you may want to check out it’s blockchain versions — Crypto Kitties and Blockchain Cuties. Both games allow players to collect and breed and sell virtual creatures (all using cryptocurrencies of course).

CryptoKitties
CryptoKitties is a blockchain game on Ethereum that allows players to purchase, collect, breed and sell virtual cats. These cats represent unique digital tokens built using the Ethereum ERC-721 standard. In CryptoKitties, cats don’t have genders, are asexual and any two cats can breed. Also, an egg is laid when two kitties breed.🤯
The creator of CryptoKitties, Axiom Zen releases a new CryptoKitty every 15 minutes, but the rest of the supply is generated by the breeding of existing kitties. As at the time of writing, the cheapest CryptoKitty cost less than 1 USD (0.0054ETH) and the most expensive are apparently valued at more than 1m USD (999+ETH).
Blockchain Cuties
Blockchain Cuties is a crypto game where players can collect “cuties” which come in the form of puppies, lizards, bear cubs, cats and other real and fantasy creatures. Each cutie is unique. Players can breed them, test their skills in battles, arm them and level them up. Players also get to buy lands in Cutieland and test their Cuties in battles and tactics. Buy, sell and trade transactions are executed using smart contracts on the Ethereum, EOS, TRON or NEO blockchains.
As at the time of writing, the cheapest Blockchain Cutie costs less than 1 USD (0.0010 ETH) and the most expensive are apparently valued at around USD 118,606 (777 ETH).
