Taco Wrap Up: July
Just when you thought July might be a quiet month after all the craziness in June. Taco had other plans!
Not only has Taco launched its very own exchange, Taco Swap, along with its suite of cool features, but we’ve also seen the introduction of the ONI token, a surprise launch of the Taco NFT Marketplace (as if it was nothing!) and a few awesome collabs!
Taco continues to use this bear market as an opportunity to grow and develop. We’re about 3 weeks ahead of our internal Taco Swap schedule but that doesn’t mean there’s time for rest! We’re continuing to implement new tools and services that increase the stability of our t.taco tokens and non-fungible assets. The devs are also working away to make Acryptia a smash hit on release.
The user base has also been building their position by levelling their Venues. As of writing, Shingland is now level 256 and only 44 levels away from unlocking Acryptia! I can’t wait.
Users have also been compounding on their Liquidity Pools. Not only that, over 33,000 TACO and 338,000,000 SHING has been staked to the new ONI pool and over 78,000 TACO has been staked to Venues for Brigade rewards. Amazing! 🤯
TACO SWAP!
On the 20th of July we released Taco Swap, the first community exchange on WAX which allows users to trade and earn in a safe and fun space.
Taco Swap is currently in its Alpha stage and is limited to VIPs and other select roles in our Discord. Since its launch, We’ve been slowly rolling out access in order to get plenty of feedback and engage projects.
We’ve continued to improve the platform by implementing changes suggested in community feedback and we’re really pleased by how everything’s unfolding!
As Taco Swap nears completion the existing rewards for staking, available on Alcor Exchange, will be transitioned to our new platform.
What is Taco Swap?
Taco Swap is a DEX that gives you the opportunity to pay less fees when trading tokens based on your staked TACO. It also gives you the chance to earn from our awesome incentivized liquidity pools. For projects, Taco Swap even has an automated system in order to easily create incentivized pools and book advertising banners across all Taco platforms.

TACO MARKETPLACE
As you know, we are always working to provide you the greatest Web3 experience ever. As part of this, we worked side by side with our partners at NeftyBlocks and on the 21th of July we launched the Taco NFT Marketplace!
The Taco NFT Marketplace gives you the ability to purchase Taco NFTs directly from our Website.
NeftyBlocks is always implementing new features in order to make this marketplace one of the coolest in the entire WAX space. Thank you guys!
ONI
ONI is the third token of the Taco Universe and will be used in many of the upcoming games.
In July, ONI staking went live and users could begin staking to the TACO/SHING pool in order to receive it. The community is currently moving towards the next checkpoint of 50,000 staked TACO, which will then generate 2,500 ONI per day.
Users can also earn ONI by simply owning levelled-up Venues.
However, whether you are staking in the TACO/SHING pool or you own levelled up Venues, you need Collectors to store your ONI before claiming. Good news is that you can get them through either the drop or on Secondary Market.
On July 1st we dropped 4,950 Series One Collectors. As of writing, a massive 1950 Collectors have already been sold. 🤯 The remaining collectors are available via this drop link which will stay open until they’re all sold: https://neftyblocks.com/c/taco/drops/123465
How it works:
• Update the Taco Universe App or go to Taco Website
• Activate your Collectors by tapping on + Add Collector
• Click on the green button STAKE, and stake TACO and SHING (fixed rate 1 TACO : 10,000 SHING)
• Everyday at 9 UTC you will see the amount of ONI you have generated
• Click on the yellow button CLAIM in order to send ONI to your wallet

Collectors Blend Live
The Collectors Blend went live so now everyone is able to blend Collectors with Ta-Cores to upgrade their ONI storing capacity!
COLLABORATIONS
Wombat x Taco
On July 12th we dropped an exciting collab, a limited-edition Brigade Equipment, the Adventure Kit!
We were inspired by Wombat’s awesome design and decided to create an adventurous Brigade NFT for Taconians eager to do some dungeoneering!
It was a pleasure to work closely with Wombat and, starting with Wombat Dungeon Master Season 4, all Taco NFTs are stakable in their game! We have plans for more exciting collabs with Wombat in the future. This was a great opportunity to work with one of the coolest projects on WAX!

NFT Battle Miners x Taco
On July 19th we dropped another exciting collab, a limited-edition Brigade Equipment, the Old Mine Shard.
We love the futuristic design. I’m still trying to work out how it can be used in the kitchen but we’ll make it work!
NFT Battle Miners, aka NBM, is a P2E game on WAX. NBM has a collection of NFT cards that are used for mining tokens — Fusium, Minium, Actium & Constructium, WAX, NBM NFTs and Partnership pool NFTs. Cards are also needed for PVP battles and future NBM metaverse.

Taco Meet up!
On the 27th of July, members of the Taco Team came all the way over to Ireland to meet up and attend my wedding (and drink Guinness). It was a great time and Nicco impressed us all with his dance moves. Thanks guys!
