Development
Mobile Wallet: We are currently in talks with a mobile wallet developer for a virtually unhackable mobile wallet on an electrumX server that does not store private keys. Private keys are only stored on users’ devices. They are currently on android with ios coming soon.
Merge-Mining Pools: The EasyMine.online pools have added several UIS merge mineable pools recently. You can now GPU merge mine Unitus with either Vertcoin, Nix or Monacoin and CPU merge mine Unitus with Myriad or Argentum. By doing this, you receive the extra UIS at no extra cost or electrical impact! The merge mining across all algorithms also provides excellent security to the Unitus network making our blockchain extremely resilient to attacks.
We are always looking to get UIS merge mineable with more coins. If you have a suggestion, feel free to comment.

Proof of Stake: All of the changes have been made in our test codebase. It needs those changes applied to Unitus, tidied up and tested thoroughly. Adding PoS to the Unitus blockchain is intricate and not as easy as just going full PoS. We are changing the consensus model from strictly PoW to hybrid PoW/PoS. While PoS will be treated in a similar way to any other algorithm, it is quite a big change.
Reminder: Unitus is a community coin. There was no premine, ICO or developer tax — Just pure miner reward. Unitus is a coin driven by volunteers. There is no company backing it and no-one is paid for any work done.
Exchanges
As you know, we are planned for listing on several exchanges. This is an area where we have put a lot of focus into.
Blockbid: They are planning on launching late August/Early September. Unitus will have SEVEN (7) different UIS/FIat trading pairs on there! You will eventually be able to trade UIS with the following popular currencies: USD, AUD, CAD, NZD, JPY, EURO & GBP.
