Development

Mobile Wallet: We are happy to announce that the mobile wallet is almost finished and ready to be released! We will further update the community when we have a date.

Whitepaper: A concise whitepaper is in the works to coincide with PoS implementation which will highlight the high security of our soon to be Hybrid Multi AUX-PoW/PoS blockchain.

Website: Minor text and graphical changes have recently been made and will continue to happen in an ongoing effort to keep the website as up-to-date as possible.

Proof of Stake: Unfortunately, PoS is not ready yet. All of the changes have been made in our test codebase. It needs those changes applied to Unitus, tidied up and tested thoroughly. We will further update the community when we have any dates. Adding PoS to the Unitus blockchain is intricate and not as easy as just going full PoS. We are changing the consensus model from strictly Multi AUX-PoW to hybrid Multi AUX-PoW/PoS. While PoS will be treated in a similar way to any other algorithm, it is quite a big change. Since PoS will also require a hardfork, we will need to make sure all the mining pools and exchanges are on the same page.

Reminder: Unitus is a community coin. There was no premine, ICO or developer tax — Just pure miner reward. Unitus is a coin driven by volunteers. There is no company backing it and no-one is paid for any work done. If you would like to help out, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are always looking for help.

Exchanges

We are still waiting on several exchanges to integrate UIS. We will further update the community when we have any dates.

Blockbid: UIS should have SEVEN (7) different UIS/Fiat trading pairs on there. You will eventually be able to trade UIS with the following popular currencies: USD, AUD, CAD, NZD, JPY, EURO & GBP.
