Step by step: How to buy XRES tokens with Ripple

1. Start from the “Buy Tokens” section on left side of your account and select the cryptocurrency you wish to contribute

The following screen will appear. Select “Ripple” as your preferred method of funding.

2. Enter your addresses and password

On the next page, enter the following:

• The XRP address you’re sending from (you may use an exchange-based wallet only to contribute)*
• The non-exchange ERC-20 wallet where you’d like to receive XRES tokens**
• The login password for your XResearch account

*NOTE: We will NEVER send you our wallet addresses via email. The only way to see the NYCREC and XRES STO wallet addresses for BTC, ETH, and XRP contributions is by passing KYC/AML, viewing the PPM, and signing the Purchase Agreement.

**❗️Important: Because we are only distributing XRES Tokens after the STO is complete, you CAN send us funds from exchange wallets. This is true for BTC, ETH, and XRP contributions. But the address you use to receive XRES Tokens must be a third-party, non-exchange ERC-20 wallet (like MyEtherWallet) for which you have access to your private keys. If it is not, we will not be able to send you XRES Tokens once the STO is complete and your tokens will be lost forever.❗️

3. Click “Show XRES Address”

You’ll see the XResearch XRP token raise address appear at the bottom. Please copy and paste this to your clipboard and/or in a separate document on your computer.

❗️CAUTION: Note that your account on our website, https://sto.xres.io/, will be the only place where the team will display the XRP token raise address to investors. Do not trust XRP addresses you see elsewhere, even through email and especially via PM on Telegram and Twitter. XResearch will NEVER solicit payments via Telegram or other social media. Our admins and team members will NEVER directly message you asking to send XRP or another cryptocurrency to an address.❗️

Also, note that we’ll set a daily closing price for XRP, which will lock in the conversion rate for the XResearch Private Sale on that day. We’ll set that price every day at 12:00 UTC.

4. Buy XRES tokens by transferring from your Ripple wallet

Now, go to your Ripple wallet. We recommend using an XRP wallet where you control the private keys, but an exchange wallet works for sending funds as well.

Get the XResearch XRP token raise address and copy and paste into the recipient address. Write how much XRP you’d like to send. Be aware the minimum for the XRES Private Sale is $5,000 USD equivalent. Click to send once all details are in there.

It should take only a few minutes for the transaction to complete. You can look up the transaction by searching your transaction hash using a Ripple blockchain explorer, such as https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/transactions, or searching your XRP address or Ripple username on https://bithomp.com/explorer/.

On your XResearch account, you can also check the status of your transactions on the history page.

You can also see how much XRP you’ve contributed to date on your dashboard home page.

Once the transaction goes through, congrats! You’ve successfully contributed to the XResearch Private Sale.

You’re now an XRES token holder. Tokens will be distributed to you at the end of the sale.

Token Price: $0.07 USD per XRES token for the Private Sale (no-bonus price for XRES tokens is $0.10 per token)

Private Sale Dates: November 20 — TBD

Bonus: At least 30%! Contributions over $500,000 and $1 million will receive higher bonuses

Token type: XRES is an ERC-20 token

Minimum Investment: $5,000 USD equivalent

Currencies Accepted: ETH, BTC, XRP, and fiat for larger contributions

Who Can Contribute: XRES is a Regulation-S security token offering (STO). If you are a citizen or legal resident of the United States, People’s Republic of China, or India you may not participate.

Important Things to Note:

1. For sending Ripple, you may use an exchange wallet, such as Binance, Poloniex, or Kraken. Only do this for transferring Ripple from your wallet to our XResearch XRP token address.

Note you can use an exchange to send contributions because we’re only sending you XRES tokens from our ERC-20 smart contract address (we’re not receiving them there). We have a dedicated XResearch XRP token address so our supporters can contribute using Ripple.

1. You MUST have a non-exchange ERC-20 wallet to receive XRES tokens. We cannot send XRES tokens to a non-compatible wallet. Only ETH and ERC-20 compatible, third-party wallets for which you are in control of your private keys are acceptable. DO NOT ask us to send XRES tokens to an exchange-based wallet, as your tokens will be lost forever.

1. Before you contribute any XRP to our Private Sale, please make certain you’re on the correct site before continuing (https://sto.xres.io/). Phishing scams are commonly seen during STOs and ICOs! For advice on how to avoid scams during the XResearch STO, read this article.
2. Your account on our website, https://sto.xres.io/, will be the only place where the team will display the XRP token raise address to investors during the Private Sale. Do not trust XRP addresses you see elsewhere, whether through email or via PM on Telegram and Twitter. XResearch will NEVER solicit payments via Telegram or other social media, and we will never email you our wallet addresses.
3. If you’d like to contribute over $100,000 in fiat, please contact the team directly at team@xres.io.

Final words: Why you should own XRES tokens

As an XRES token holder, you’re entitled to numerous benefits, including:

• Fractional interest the equity of the company: Because XRES is a security token, token holders, in aggregate, will own 5% equity in XResearch (details of that ownership stake are to be decided).
• Discounts on the XResearch platform: If you want to reference high-quality research on our network in order to make better investment decisions, paying in XRES tokens gets you a discount.
• Getting paid as a verified contributor: XResearch enables independent investment researchers to contribute their own content and get paid. If you want to showcase your talents (and make money) through our platform, you must own XRES tokens.
