Revolutionary NFT experience
During March 9th and 10th, Zagreb became the epicenter of an exclusive FinTech conference Money Motion. The team of Tekuno in collaboration with NEAR Balkans, executed a revolutionary experience through NFTs which was made possible by Mastercard, a global leader in payment technologies.
The MoMo NFT activation offered the attendees a gamified experience, through which they collected proof of their attendance at the conference and different NFTs — Proof of Doings (PODs). The PODs were limited to both space and time, meaning that the attendees could only collect the PODs during a specific time at the conference.
The PODs acted as a gateway for the prize game competition, and by following the rules the collectors were entered into a raffle for exciting prizes:
- exclusive merchandise
- a special 1–2–1 session with Christian Rau, Senior Vice President Crypto, and Fintech Enablement Mastercard Europe
- tickets for the VIP conference party
- an invitation to an exclusive web3 NEAR educational workshop
- and the grand prize: a Mastercard Priceless experience at Chiavalon, Istria — olive oil making and tasting experience
The attendees were able to claim their PODs by simply scanning the QR codes on several predefined locations during the conference:
- Day 1 & Day 2 entrance
- Day 1 panel: Embedded Finance — Payments as an experience
- NEAR Balkans booth
- Day 2 presentation by Christian Rau from Mastercard: Digital assets are changing the game.
At the end of each day, the teams of NEAR Balkans and Tekuno selected the winners live at Money Motion at the NEAR Balkans booth, where the winners could also pick up the prizes. The feedback from the attendees was amazing as they could easily follow the campaign with fun challenges and no blockchain experience or knowledge required.
To end this journey of motion the campaign reached more than 14 000 people and it was available for an exclusive 1 000 that attended the conference. The user-friendliness and technology of Tekuno App made it possible to distribute more than 500 PODs to more than 200 unique collectors.
