In previous articles, we talked about how to stake an NFT, but how to claim rewards and unstake NFT? Read on to uncover this secret. This instruction is suitable for all TOCD “universes”: Beam Main ($BEAM), Base ($GLOOM, $DEGEN), etc.
Understanding the Basics
Before embarking on the journey of acquiring and utilizing $DEGEN tokens, it’s crucial to grasp the foundational elements:
- NFT is one of the main digital assets in TOCD, which allows you to earn for free. The NFT remains with its owner forever until he decides to sell it, and if the Faction to which it belongs wins, it brings a share of 30% of the Treasury of the losing Faction;
- Unstaking is the process of releasing your locked assets from the smart contract, making them available for immediate use or transfer. In TOCD, unstaking allows players to reclaim their NFT after the end of the Siege.
- NFT owners/stakers are free to play to earn. NFT players have no risk of losing this NFT even if their faction loses the game. So if you have an NFT whose supply is 200 NFTs total — you are very lucky and unique. How to claim rewards and unstake NFT
The First Option: “Check Unclaimed Reward” window:
- Open the panel of your wallet at the top right of the page:
2. Click on the “Check Unclaimed Reward” button:
3. A window will open with a list of all the battles you participated in. If there is a reward that you have not collected yet, click the “Claim” button and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
Congratulations! You have received a reward. Repeat the steps if you have several unclaimed rewards.
The Second Option: On the Homepage:
Step 1. The Search for a Completed Siege
- Go to the Homepage (theoldcastle.xyz) (don’t forget to select the desired blockchain and treasure token):
2. Scroll down to the list of games (Sieges) and choose and go to the completed game in which you staked NFT:
3. The Completed Siege page opens.
Step 2. Getting the reward and unstaking the NFT
- Click on the “Claim & Unstake” button
2. A window of your non-custodial wallet will open with a request to confirm the transaction. Confirm the action;
3. After the transaction is confirmed, you automatically claim your reward and the NFT will be ready to stake in the next game:
Attention! You can only collect the reward if your NFT Faction has won. Otherwise, only NFT unstaking will be performed
