Outposts Referrals: Cleaner Digests and New NFTs
We’ve had an amazing launch period so far, with over 2600 explorers joining Outposts in the last two weeks! All of us at The Internet Community Company are super appreciative of all of the love; we hope your first few digests have treated you well.
Speaking of, we’ve made some visual changes to improve your experience reading through updates from your favorite communities. A cleaner look makes catching up on the latest from your favorite communities easier and more interesting. Check out your latest digest and let us know what you think over in the Discord!
Some keen-eyed explorers have been making use of the “Invites & NFTs” section, which is actually what we are (formally) launching today. Invite your friends, get access to special NFTs that grant unique perks on the Outposts platform! Read on to learn more.
Invites? How do those work?
The first step, get yourself an Outposts access pass. If you aren’t yet onboard, check out our launch article to get started.
Once you are in, head on over to the “Invites & NFTs” section at https://outposts.io/referral. Here you’ll find your dashboard for everything on our system, including conditions and rewards!
Simply place the address or ENS of the user you wish to refer, and we will mint an “Outposts Invite” directly to that account! The user can then burn their invite, in the process minting their very own access pass and adding an invite to your tally.
Make sure you let your friends know if you are looking to increase your invite count, as each access pass holder may only have three active invites at any time. (No spamming!)
Okay, but what are my rewards?
Referrals are set to be a cornerstone to the future of Outposts, with plans to further functionality (and tiers!) far into the future.
Currently, three tiers are available; alongside the beloved access pass, “Stellar Scouts” and “Nebula Navigator” can be found, requiring 3 and 10 invites respectively.
Explorer Access NFT
This is your unique explorer that works as a personal key to unlocking the Outposts platform. Anyone who owns an Explorer can use Outposts Digests, receiving emails twice a week with updates from all your favourite communities.
In addition to platform access, Explorer NFT holders get unique perks in the Outposts Discord, as well as three invite slots, allowing your friends to mint their own access passes! (Be careful, we have a few checks in place to make sure a wallet is active).
Stellar Scouts NFT
Stellar Scouts are recognized community members who have introduced three new explorers to Outposts! Scouting the way for their comrades, scouts have exclusive benefits.
This tier is the first to receive “boosts”. Boosts are an upcoming feature on Outposts allowing community members to grant exclusive rewards and functionalities to their favorite communities. We’re hard at work on this system, so treat this as a teaser in the meantime! We’ll be sharing more as soon as we are ready. (Scouts also get an elevated tier in the Outposts Discord!).
Nebula Navigator NFT
Nebula Navigators are among the most dedicated Outposts users, bringing explorers far and wide together to grow their favourite communities.
Navigators get additional boosts upon launch, further benefits within the TICC ecosystem, and an additional elevated tier in the Outposts Discord.
