Episode 11 — The Loved Ones Visit

The Survivor Loved Ones Visit and Compete
The Survivor are so happy to see their loved ones

What were some important photography scene setting moments from Post-Merge Episode 11 of the Survivor Season 35 TV show, which aired December 6, 2017? This was the Loved Ones visit, and that is some amazing Cinematography to capture the running hugs and love. I have tried to show that here! Credit goes to the Cinematography Crew of the long running CBS show, headed by Peter Wery, Director of Photography.

The Camera Crew did a great job capturing those runs to hug a loved one.

Drawing Rocks to Match Your Loved One, Chrissy Wins

Question: Most ridiculous Survivor challenge ever? This required zero skill. Did John K. take the week off?

Feast for the Survivors and Loved Ones Chrissy Picked Back at Camp

Question: Do you see those things hanging in the trees? What are they? Remember back at a previous Reward Challenge where Chrissy said she would look for things hanging in the trees? Was this a callback to that?

Lots of Snake Imagery This Episode

Question: Who gets the most snake pics before a shot of them? I am thinking it is Ben.

Scenes from a tough Immunity Challenge, Ashley Wins

Question: Toughest Immunity Challenge ever? John K. was back with a vengeance. Some challenges get tougher as they go along, but this looks like it hurt right from the start.

These screenshots taken from the CBS All Access app don’t come close to showing the beauty of the cinematography. Re-watch the show to appreciate the true artistry the Camera Crew adds to Survivor. It’s my favorite part of the series!
