Introducing Phase II: The Mothership
SHAPING OUR OWN REALITY: A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDERS
“Our universe of infinite possibilities is made possible by constraints. Laws govern the cosmos and give them form, they bond atoms into molecules. The absence of definition is chaos, the existential abyss. Only when we establish boundaries are we able to build within them, press against them, bend, and break them.
Creation depends principally upon constraints.
Every smart contract on the blockchain is a paragon of conceptual art, the art of rules, the art of constraints. The smart contract is liberating in its rigidity, infinite within its confines. The smart contract provides us the conditions to create art.
The Rocket Factory is a work of art. It crosses dimensions, ventures into space, and beyond time. Our Rockets will exist for all eternity as information held in a superposition between physical meatspace and the blockchain.
The blockchain communicates with our smart contracts and dictates the edges of our universe. The constraints have been established. The computer is unflinching in its execution, unwavering in its precision. We translate our fingerprints into ones and zeros.
Tom Sachs says “The greatest advantage the artist has over industry is their fingerprints.” The ability to infect a medium with our imperfection, imprinting a vestige of humanity. The scars of the artist’s labor proves our existence. A human was here.
Together, we unwrap this new infinity. We build Rockets as a vehicle for exploration, and discovery. We use the blockchain as a means to the same end.
There is a revolution unfolding as fast as we can invent it. Reading this sentence makes you an accomplice. Even the smallest alteration to a vector at its origin has a massive impact on its course through time. This is our opportunity to shape our future.”
QUARTERLY REPORT:
The Rocket Factory is a trans-dimensional manufacturing plant. We use NFTs to build new NFTs. We broke ground on our state-of-the-art Web3.0 Factory on August 1, 2021.
Since opening our doors innovation has led the way, beginning with Component NFT production. New, cutting-edge, methods for blockchain based manufacturing were developed and implemented. The Rocket Factory introduced Assembly: the process of creating a single Completed Rocket NFT by com-burning (combined and burned) its three Component NFTs.
Boundaries of dimensional separation were broken when we unveiled our IRL Rocket Factory. A Physical twin of every digital Rocket is being produced in IRL meatspace. Astronauts from the Rocket Factory are given the option to launch their Physical Rocket into orbit. Our Rockets are vehicles which will propel us into Phase II.
MOTHERSHIP CONNECTION:
From the dark silence of space comes whispered reports describing construction of a massive classified spacecraft. The most ambitious engineering feat humanity has ever undertaken. It is nearing completion. The Mothership approaches.
Humanity’s future is in the cosmos. The Mothership will ferry us there.
Scarcity is fundamental to every decision in commerce. Production, consumption, our labor, and our leisure are responses to the issue of limited resources. Our relationship with the Earth’s bounty is failing. The astronomical investment required to mine off-planet will inevitably become net positive. Advancements in technology will help shift the scales- but the complete depletion and squanderance of our planet will ultimately determine its prudence. We may have no other option.
The Mothership is the largest structure ever conceived. It is both a vehicle, and a vessel — a cargo ship. It carries passengers to a destination, and returns laden with the Yield from our Mining efforts.
The Mothership’s surface is lined with 1,000 Rocket Docking Ports. Matching the exact productive capacity of the Rocket Factory. The Mothership has space to carry every Rocket, Astronauts, passengers, and Mined cargo.
The coordination of each Docked Rocket firing together, propels the Mothership towards its destination. In Phase II, we will reach Mars, mine its resources, and bring them back to earth. The Reward for Good Work is More Work.
The Mothership is the first interplanetary commercial spacecraft, serving as the airline of our future. As the world’s largest companies compete to scratch the barrier of space, the Mothership represents an alternative. Combining the resources of the Rocket Factory’s 30 Brands in a singular venture. The total exceeds the sum of each part.
TICKETING PROTOCOL:
Buy a ticket, take the ride.
The Mothership is the airline of the future. Ticket Minting will open in the weeks leading up to departure. Tickets will be issued as fully transferable NFTs. Class status and eligibility for Ticket Minting will be determined by your level of participation in the Rocket Factory.
Class Status dictates a passenger’s overall baggage allowance, their total mining yield.
The Mothership Ticket Minting Policy:
Ticket Minting is reserved for the following Rocket Factory Personnel: Completed Rocket NFT Holders(Astronauts)and Test Flight Crew Patch Holders. Ticket NFTs are issued individually for each Rocket NFT, wallet limits will be used in all other cases.
Access Qualifications:
Flown Astronauts: Those with a Launched Rocket NFT will be guaranteed access to the First Class Cabin, and are allowed the maximum checked-baggage, carry-ons, and personal items.
Assembled Rocket Astronauts: Those with Unlaunched Assembled Rocket NFTs will be guaranteed access to the Business Class Cabin, and are allowed the second highest total mining yield.
Stickers: Rocket NFTs with Stickers will receive an automatic upgrade to the First Class Cabin, and will receive a Steamer Trunk Voucher for each sticker — at no additional cost. A Steamer Trunk is a commercial sized container, which holds substantially more Mining Yield than any other baggage option.
Test Flight Crew Patch Holders: A lottery will be held for Economy Class Tickets. Economy Class allows each passenger a carry-on and personal item.
Updates on Ticket NFT dynamics will be announced in the weeks leading up to minting.
OFFWORLD MINING - EXTRACT THE FUTURE:
The Mothership will depart Earth’s orbit on a course for Mars. Ticket NFT holders will be along for the journey. After reaching our destination, the Mothership will remain in orbit. Ticket NFT holders will descend from the Mothership to several Mining Regions on the surface of Mars. The Martian Mining Mission will take place in the Metaverse.
Mining Regions:
Preliminary reports indicate a wide variance in geology at each of the targeted Mining Regions. A full Geological Survey will be released prior to Ticket Minting, and will list the final selection of Mining Regions.
Rock NFTs:
Rock NFTs will be mined on Mars, and transported back to Earth aboard the Mothership. Rock NFTs vary in overall weight and volume. Rocks NFTs are made of Elements. There are a CLASSIFIED amount of Filler Elements, and a CLASSIFIED amount of Chunk Elements. Each Rock NFT contains a mixture of CLASSIFIED Filler Elements, and any combination of Chunk Elements. The prevalence of each Element is different in each Mining Region. The overall rarity will be determined by where the Community decides to mine. Mining will take place over a multi day period. Your ticket specifies which day you are cleared for Mining. A Manifest of the Mothership’s Cargo Hold will be published every 24hrs for the duration of the Mining period.
Customs:
Following Mining, the Mothership will return to Earth, Rock NFTs must then be cleared through Customs. While trading of Rock NFTs is permitted during this time — the metadata and graphics will not yet be revealed.
The Mothership’s Cargo Hold has capacity beyond Passenger Mining Yield. The Rocket Factory will be Mining Rock NFTs until the Cargo Hold reaches its limit. These Rocks will be expedited through customs. A Public Claiming period for excess inventory will be opened following the Mining Period.
Rock Processing:
The Rocket Factory’s Classified Research Division is making breakthroughs in the field of Rocket Fuel Efficiency. Rocket NFTs may soon be capable of intergalactic travel, without the aid of a Mothership. Preliminary findings show that the elements found on the Martian surface may be Refined forming the ideal compounds necessary for intergalactic exploration. Discovery of new life may someday become our reality.

Tom Sachs (b. 1966) is an American contemporary artist, and bricoleur (handyman) working in New York City. Sachs’ genre defying mixed media sculptures, often recreations of modern icons using everyday materials, show all of the work that goes into producing an object — a reversal of modernization’s trend towards products with cleaner, simpler, and more perfect edges. Sachs’s sculptures are conspicuously handmade; lovingly cobbled together from plywood, resin, steel, and ceramic. The scars and imperfections in the sculptures tell the story of how it came into being and remove it from the realm of miraculous conception. His studio team functions like a teaching hospital, or cult, that worships plywood and an ethos of transparency.
He has done major collaborations with brands like Nike, which have realized a number of innovative products and U.S. utility patents. Major art exhibitions include the Space Program, a demonstration of all that is necessary for survival, scientific exploration, resource harvesting, and colonization in extraterrestrial environments. His works are held in museum collections around the world, including the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Modern Art — New York, the Centre Georges Pompidou — Paris, Metropolitan Museum of Art — New York, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Astrup Fearnley Museet for Moderne Kunst — Oslo, Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
