Our team at V Systems is proud to launch its brand-new product — VKube!

VKube is a Kubernetes-based container service for developers and enterprises to run containerized applications on the cloud. It is affordable, easy to use, and efficient, and you can start deploying from only 0.002 USD/hr on a pay-as-you-go basis.

To learn how to deploy on VKube, you can follow our tutorial below.

A step-by-step guide to deploying a service on VKube

1. Sign up on VKube

Visit https://vkube.vcloud.systems to sign up and create a new account.

Accounts are IP-based, which means that new users will only need to set up a password and save the backup seed phase provided during registration.

2. “Purchase” to place an order

Click on “Purchase” on the left menu to configure your service and place an order. Click on the blue button “Order” to set the preferred parameters for your service.

3. Create your order

Once you’ve customized the service, click on “Create” at the bottom of the page, then click on “Confirm” or “Confirm and Pay”.

By clicking on “Confirm and Pay”, you will be automatically redirected to the payment window.

If you click on “Confirm”, you will have to manually go to the payment page under “My Orders”.

4. Complete the payment

Click on “My Orders” to complete the payment of your service and start deploying. Select the order you want to pay for by clicking on the blue button “Pay” right next to the order you’ve placed.

On VKube, you can pay with PayPal or VSYS tokens. Learn more about how to top up and pay here.

5. “My Services” and“Secret”

Click on “My Services” on the left to view the services you have purchased.

To start deploying a container, click on “Secret”. This action will allow you to copy the Secret seed phrase of the service you purchased.

6. Start deploying your applications

After clicking on “Secret” to copy the service secret key, you will be automatically redirected to “My Containers”, where you can paste the service secret key into the search bar. Here, click on “Add”.

Please note that each service secret key corresponds to a container, and it is stored in the local cache. The service secret key will be erased once you empty the browser cache.

By adding or deleting service secret keys, you won’t affect your service info or status. Please note that the container cannot be deployed again after the first time but you can opt to renew the service duration. Find out more in our FAQ.

7. Deploy a container

After placing an order, the container status will be “Pending”. The “Deploy” button will then appear. Please note that, once the container deployment is complete, you won’t be able to deploy the container again. If the service needs to be deployed again, you can opt for service renewal (read more).

Start deploying your container:

  • Enter the image information. Currently, the supported images can be from dockerhub public, dockerhub private, and GitHub public. The dockerhub public image format is: image name :tag ‘(e.g. nginx:latest). The image format of dockerhub private and GitHub public image format is: account name/image name :tag ‘.
  • For private images, you need to add the account and password (or assessKey) information. Before deployment, you will need the corresponding warehouse address to access the image. Make sure that the image corresponding to the tag is readable in the image repository.
  • Click the Deploy button to deploy. The system will review each input before submitting the deployment request.
