#DiscoverWMS — Why and How
Introduction
Summer 2022, an unprecedented heat wave invades Europe; while we live one of the hottest summers of our existence, fast fashion continues its frantic and unsustainable production.
More and more clothes and collections, at an ever-lower price; this practice of ever more profitable ready-to-wear has spread to the fashion industry via large textile groups with an unprecedented environmental impact.
Unfortunately, this phenomenon does not stop at the shelves of the ready-to-wear stores, more and more artists and brands are selling t-shirts or other merchandise to their audience or fan base. Merchandizing has become an additional source of income for many companies and crypto projects are no exception to this new phenomenon.
However, how many of you have been disappointed with the quality of this merchandise?
Your limited edition t-shirt of the new trendy crypto project paid several tens of dollars has probably been produced without respecting our planet or the people who made it. Moreover, it is potentially produced with poor quality and unhealthy materials. Your t-shirts are probably unwearable after 3 washes and forgotten in the back of your closet.
This phenomenon, coupled with the current climate situation, made us want to have a positive impact on our ecosystem. This is why we decided to create Wen Mint Sir.
Presentation
Crypto-enthusiastic and concerned about climate change and environment, we want to offer a sustainable alternative to merchandising on the web3.
This is why we want to support projects to produce high quality merchandise, while working with products and partners that respect the environment and working conditions.
In parallel, we will develop our own brand Wen Mint Sir (“WMS”) through our first NFT collection, “The Elemental Elves”.
This collection will be the spearhead of our project. It will allow us to demonstrate our level of expertise to the ecosystem.
We intend to distinguish ourselves from other projects by the atypical composition of our core team, even if this team will evolve and improve over time.
Our professional experiences, combined with our knowledge in web3 and the artistic direction of a talented young artist, makes us a balanced and promising team.
We have noticed, during the last two years, that many projects have not been successful due to lack of communication, organization and planning.
We would like to put special emphasis on these skills so that every step of the process can germinate and succeed in an optimal way.
