The WolfiLand team is happy to make the steps forward in the expansion of WolfiLand from being just a collectible/art collection to something bigger!
We are proud to announce the release of WolfiLabs! A team of people aiming to release NFT collections that bring utility to their users.
The Mision
WolfiLabs is aiming to release two more major NFT collections to develop an app that is centered on just having fun (not centered on monetary incentives). We internally call it a “bragging-app”, where users could interact with their NFTs in fun ways (more information will be released in the future).
Our short-term plan is to release a second major NFT collection to collect the necessary funds to develop the app. This new collection will strongly focus on art and traits instead of the classic rarity system, and it will also feature a completely new character (No more main collections featuring Wolfi).
Right now we are using a percentage of WolfiLand’s funds to develop and engineer everything related to this new goal, but a second collection is needed to guarantee and accelerate the app development.
Our app key takeaways are:
- No token.
- No play to earn (P2E).
- Use your NFT to interact with fun apps.
What to expect…
WolfiLabs will consist of three main NFT collections with three different art themes and characters. Right now, WolfiLand is the only one released so far, including two minor NFT collections that will also interact with the application we want to develop.
Roadmap changes
For WolfiLand’s roadmap, we had plans to do a merch store. However, we think and feel the merch store won’t be enough to justify the utility that many users want for their NFTs.
In that sense, we decided to replace the merch store goal with the new app we are working to release. The updated and final WolfiLand roadmap (that is now WolfiLab’s roadmap) will look like this:
- Digital Artbook for WolfiLand holders (Release date: January/February 2023).
- Release of our second major collection (Untitled, to be announced soon).
- Release the WolfiLand/Untitled-collection application (Expected in Q2, 2023).
- Release WolfiLab’s 3rd major collection (Q3, 2023 or Q1, 2024).
Transparency
For transparency purposes, we will set up a treasury address for our 2nd collection funds that anyone can monitor. We will also do a transparency sheet with all monthly expenses related to our app development.
We will dive deeper into how funds will be distributed (and for which purposes) after we release more information about our 2nd collection.
Benefits for WolfiLand users
WolfiLand users will have benefits for our next collection depending on the rarity of their NFTs.
Common, Uncommon, and Rare Wolfi holders will get:
- Automatic whitelist for our next collection.
Epic and Special Wolfi holders will get:
- Automatic whitelist for our next collection.
- One (1) reserved NFT from our 2nd collection.
Mythic Wolfi holders will get:
- Automatic whitelist for our next collection.
- One (1) reserved NFT from the 2nd collection.
- 10% of the mint funds will be divided among the 10 Mythic Wolfi holders.
- 50% of the royalty funds will be divided between the 10 Mythic Wolfi holders for the next six months after the collection is released (payouts will be sent by the end of each month).
WolfiLab’s current goals
The WolfiLab’s team is working on creating a spectacular digital artbook, which will be linked to an NFT. We will soon make a blog post to announce the snapshot and release date of the art book.
We are also organizing everything to start promoting our second collection. We couldn’t be more excited!
