Beyond Star and Traffic Light ratings

This article describes application features and behavior as of v0.7.3.

This is the third article in a series related to training WWZ combatants.

In the first article of the series, WWZ Archetypes, we introduced tools that can be used to choose between WWZ eligible NFTs to begin training. Questions like, “Is this NFT more likely to roll for higher offense than that one?” can be answered in this step.

After a player selects an NFT to train and after the player begins the training process, they will need to decide if they should stop or continue training. Our second article, WWZ Training Reports, explains how Star and Traffic Light ratings can offer a summary of data to help a player decide.

This article, the third, is also meant to help answer the “Should I promote or continue training?” question — but through a more advanced report. To access the High Res Training Report, use the Detail link beneath the Training Summary for any combatant — PixZilla or otherwise.

Use the `Detail` button beneath a training summary to view a more detailed analysis.

You may be asked to confirm it is OK to open the detailed training report page in your browser. If so, use the Visit Site button to continue.

It is normal to receive this message. The detailed training report is available as a web page in your browser. Discord is just letting you know you are about to open a page outside of Discord.

The first section of the detailed training report page repeats the same star and traffic light rating information, but this time the ratings are grouped by combat category. This makes it easier to correlate to high res chart that follows immediately after.

The high res training report shows a colored wedge for combat stat. The colors of the wedges correspond to the combat categories described above. The translucent inner circle of the chart shows where the hypothetical average trainee is rated.

In this high res training report, the wedge for `ACC` nearly maxed out — meaning this trainee is elite when it comes to accuracy. Conversely, the `HP+` wedge is quite small — this trainee compares to others unfavorably when it comes to health regeneration.

Like the number of stars reported for a stat, the size of a wedge indicates how strong the trainee is in a particular category. However where there are only 4 stars that can be filled in various states, there are 100 potential wedge sizes (percentiles). In other words: higher resolution.

We expect a player who regularly consults high res training reports and makes them a part of their WWZ strategy will fare better in the long run.
