Hou Gao Yeah! feat. Popdesign

30 students from Hong Kong, Switzerland and other countries presented their art work and performances at the Hou Gao Yeah!- Party at the XXX Gallery. Two students attended the party and captured the atmosphere in some photos and an Instagram story.

Zurich meets Hong Kong over a Cup of Coffee

Together with the Hong Kong Coffee college the ZHAW presented results from coffee research. The focus was on freshness. Since coffee is not only something for the sense of smell and taste, but also something for the eyes, the students reported in an Instagram picture series of the event.

Politics of Space in Sham Shui Po

SIU King Chung and Jürgen Krusche presented their artistic research on the gentrification of Sham Shui Po in a public talk. Two students went their and reported live via Twitter. Read their Twitter moment here.

Alien (1979) directed by Ridley Scott

The end of the festival was dedicated to the work of the Swiss artist H. R. Giger. He created a wide range of works in fantastic realism and surrealist genres. His creature “Alien” for the film of the same name by Ridley Scott became particularly famous. To announce the screening of the film the trailer was spread on the social web.
