We return to the city in December of 2019 as The Psychic returns the Magic Ball to its pedestal:

Talako asked why The Psychic was surprised he touched the Magic Ball, and they said even fate underestimated his stupidity.
Talako is a bit of a sasshole at the best of times. The Psychic outranks him.
Still angry, Frieda storms out of The Psychic’s store, slamming the door behind her as she ditches Talako.
Frieda ends up angry and embarrassed. Not uncommon for an interaction between her and Talako, unfortunately.
Talako looks startled and upset. The Psychic tells him not to worry; Frieda will forgive him. After all, KARMA likes him.
The Psychic hates giving relationship advice in normal circumstances, but Talako looks too much like a sad puppy to ignore him.
