Angels guided us to follow a Christmas Star – a true story

“We have come but for one purpose, to prepare a way for the coming of the Messiah,” the spiritual messengers of God, Aka, say.

Our little church was built and dedicated simply to God on December 5, 1982. It has a beautiful history.

In 1979, when danger of war was looming in 1985, people asked Ray Elkins if he knew of land that might be safe.

Our Father and His spiritual messengers saw our needs. In answer to many prayers, they guided Ray to a fertile valley with abundant water, nestled safely below the Dripping Springs Mountains.

The spiritual messengers of God, who are here to prepare a way for the Messiah’s coming, led Ray on a way called Christmas Star route. So, Ray followed the Christmas Star.

It led him to a valley that lay beneath the former mining town of Christmas. It was named Christmas because Christmas mine was staked there on Christmas Day, 1902. For many years, people from all around the world sent Christmas cards and presents there to be postmarked from Christmas.

In Southwestern Gila County, Arizona, nestled in the remote canyons of the Dripping Springs Mountains, just west of Jerusalem Peak lies what remains of the old mining town Christmas. The post office opened on June 17, 1905. During holidays the post office was considerably busier. Christmas cards and other packages were sent from across the United States by people wishing to have their items re-mailed with a Christmas postmark. With the town’s declining population making operations unprofitable, the Christmas post office closed for a final time on March 30, 1935. Despite the closure, holiday mail continued to arrive for the next two decades; these bags of mail were forwarded to the nearby post office in Winkelman, Arizona. See this article on “The Town of Christmas Arizona,” and this one in “Christmas.”

After Christmas mine closed in the 1980s, the post office says the rural route was renamed Dripping Springs for the range of mountains under which it lies.

But in 1979, in spirit and in truth, Ray was led by angels to follow the Christmas Star!

Even a year before Ray was guided to follow Christmas Star, the spiritual messengers of God told Ray and the flock of people gathered to listen to them on September 8, 1978: “You shall build a building, and we shall give unto you the dimensions.

“It shall serve all of you. And it shall be a place of worship.”

And so, it was. The building was built.

A church dedicated simply to God stands in evening light beneath the Dripping Springs mountains soon after it was built.

On December 5, 1982, Ray dedicated the new church to God.

Was this timing only coincidence? Or did God’s spiritual messengers know a greater meaning that is being brought forth on heaven and earth, in God’s timing?

December 5, 1982, was the first day of the season of the Advent. It is a time of waiting to celebrate the Christ Child’s birth on Christmas. And it is also the season for the preparation for the coming of the Messiah today.

Many begin the Advent season by telling about John the Baptist, who was sent as his forerunner to prepare a way.

On November 30, 1971, the spiritual messengers of God told us: And as was said unto the one known as John the Baptist, “For was he not of Isaiah and Moses and of all mankind before him?” — was he not sent, therefore, to prepare a way for the coming of the Messiah? Yet, do you denounce and deny these words? And we say unto thee in this manner. We are here but for one purpose, for the coming of the Messiah, for we reach outward for the need of your souls, to prepare a way upon your earth for this time. [See Exodus 3:1–18, 12:14, 13:21–22, 14:15–20, 20:1–21, 33:5–23, 34:1–35, 36:8–9, 37:1–24, 40:34–38, Deuteronomy 31:9, 24–27, 34:1–5, and John 1:1–34.]

On March 3, 1972,Aka said: Thy have asked before, from whence we came? And we shall say unto thee in this manner. As soul Ray was reborn, and in this manner, so were we, for as has been said before, soul Ray is I and I is he. For as he prayed into his Lord for death, and this was given, but as he looked back upon his body, and looked into our Lord’s eyes and knew that with the gift that was given he should return and give it unto others, but he had to give it in this manner, with love, with compassion at all times.

Ray rings the church bell to invite all to come and prepare a way within their hearts for the coming of the Messiah, each in his or her own way

This word you use so often, yet know so little about, this small word of yours, love, you cannot give it unless it is done freely. For, in giving this, each step that thy take thy grow closer unto our Father. Can you understand of which we speak? Nay, not fully. But the day shall come that thy shall. And we speak these words not only unto the disciples that we have named, for we name you all disciples before God.

But remember these words, we shall allow nothing or no one from either side of the curtain to interfere with this work, for it is far too important. We have given unto thee, as our Father has done unto all mankind, free choice. But we also have given unto thy keeping a prophet, a man who should stand before God, as he stands before you….

We have worked long and hard to prepare a way for the coming of the Messiah. And so shall you all.

Thy have asked in your minds, “What are these who speak to us?” And we shall answer in this manner. For those of the spirits who should enter and become one, and therefore, become your Messiah and ours, have asked into our Lord to send those who stood beside them before, to prepare a way. [See John13:20, 14:15–21, 16:6–15, and 17:17–26, Matthew 17:1–13 and Luke 9:28–36.]

And we chose this one thy call thy prophet to [walk], work through, as once before in the one thy know as John the Baptist.

Give praise unto thy Lord, thy God, and our Lord, your Father, your God shall give praise unto His children, and they shall become mighty both in heaven and earth. But remember, no man shall know of heaven that does not know of earth, and no man shall know of earth that does not know of heaven. [See John 1:6–34.]

But we say, hark, unto thee. Why should you believe the words we speak of your earthly things and not believe these things we speak unto thee of heaven, as thy would call it?

And they say, you say unto us, “What are these who speak in this manner? Are they angels? Are they archangels?” And we should say unto thee, these are words of your own. But we should answer in this manner. We stand in pure light before our Father and you. We have found it necessary to speak in your tongue, of your language. But go forward; bear this yoke of love, and our Father shall reward into each of thee in thy own way.

A fig tree in Israel

Many of you may remember how Ray was fond of telling us Jesus’ words in Matthew 24:32–33 about the signs of his return: “Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh. So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.”

Did we witness many signs (some that went unnoticed) from the spiritual messengers of God, who tell us that Jesus asked the Father to send them to prepare a way for the Messiah’s coming? (See John, chapters 13–17.)

As the brightest light in the heavens passed over Earth on March 25, 1970, spiritual messengers of God arrived. It was Holy Week, while many were remembering Jesus’ farewell words at his Last Supper on Passover. God’s spiritual messengers began to speak through a man who had just been given back life by “one with more love in his eyes than anyone” Ray had ever seen. His wife recorded their words on April 3, 1970. The U.S. Naval Observatory considers April 3 to be the most likely day on which Jesus spoke at his Last Supper when he promised to send the Spirit of truth, who will be with us forever.

The comet passed over, closest to Earth, on March 25, 1970. It’ s bright heavenly light was visible to one-third of the earth at a time as it shone throughout April 1970.

August 15, 1971, the spiritual messengers of God said: As we were sent for the One who asked — for the council of Thirteen, this is made up of many spirits, as thy would know them. But remember also, we are not great. For our coming, permission must be given from our Lord, our Father. But we should say of these words of our coming, we are here to prepare a way for the coming of the Messiah. [See John 14:1–5, 14:15–28, 16:6–15, chapter 17, and Acts 1:6–26, 2:1–28.]

Was the Messiah the one who asked our Father?

In John 13:20, Jesus said: “I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.”

In John 14:1–5, he spoke of this: “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

He said in John 14:15–21: “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever — the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

“A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

In John 14:27–29: Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 28 You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice becauseI said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.

John 16:16–19: “A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go to the Father.” Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.

Did he speak all these words that we may prepare a way for the coming of the Messiah?

John 17:20–26: “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.

The spiritual messengers of God spoke to us on August 15, 1987: The knowledge and the greater plan of the Lord is but one. Your religions, as you would know them, are like the bouquet that your bring before the Lord; it is all beautiful. This, and what the Lord gives back, is beautiful. Accept it, that you shall learn more of it and the truth of the answers as you proceed to your next step.

Does the sign in front of the church hold a greater meaning in the preparation for the coming of the Messiah?

You have entered the valley. All the things that were provided for this valley were provided long ago. A time and a place were set aside long ago. The pathway that was guided into this valley, and even its name was given for a reason [Christmas Star]. For much as the name of Bethlehem would be from one place, so would this be from another.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem in a humble manger

One might wonder, is it only coincidence that the way of Christmas Star that angels guided Ray to follow, that lies beneath the little town of Christmas, Arizona at 32 degrees 59’ N. latitude — is so close to the latitude, of 31° 42' 59.99" N, where the little town of Bethlehem lies?

The church that Ray dedicated to God stands in the desert wilderness on 1.1 acres beneath the mountains, much like Bethlehem. Bethlehem is about 5 miles south of Jerusalem, standing at an elevation of about 2,550 feet above the sea. The church is at about the same elevation. The U.S. weather service map shows a square mile around it to have an elevation of 2789 feet. But this includes mountains behind the church and in front of it across street. Downhill, where the church lies near the Dripping Springs wash, the elevation would be lower––possibly just the same as Bethlehem?

Yet, where Jesus grew up, Nazareth, Israel, is even closer to the 32 degrees 59’ N. latitude of the church, at 32°41′57″ N. –– or only about 9-feet to the north? In the church yard would it be the same as Nazareth?

And even the Jordan River, where John the Baptist baptized Jesus and others, is at latitude 32° 27' 56.5812'’ N. or 32 feet to the north.

How very similar this route is — where God’s spiritual messengers led Ray to follow a Christmas Star — to the places where John and Jesus walked before.

A stairway to Heaven

Spiritual messengers of God, Aka, arrived in late March 1970, with a brilliant heavenly light. We are here...to prepare a way for the coming of the Messiah.
