Introducing TronWallet and the TWX token
Following the launch of the TRON protocol to “Decentralize The Internet”, many projects have launched on the TRON ecosystem. TronWallet is one such project to launch on the TRON protocol.
Cryptocurrency wallets are the entry points for all users to enter this world. Used primarily as a means to store your tokens, the functions of a wallet has expanded to other functions, such as using it for payment at merchants and conducting peer to peer transfers of digital assets.

More Than A Wallet- TronWallet Platform
ICO Launchpad
Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) are still very much alive, contrary to popular belief. With the TRON protocol expanding, more projects are expected to do an ICO on the TRON platform.
The TronWallet platform offers projects an opportunity to launch their ICO on the TronWallet App, websites and partners. Decentralized Exchange (DEX) listing is one of the four main revenue sources of the project, according to this blog post from the team. Projects that wish to list are required to pay for listing fees and marketing support from TronWallet. This creates a complete cycle from ICO to listing of the token. However, there is still more.
Decentralized Application Support
Users of TronWallet are able to access Decentralized Applications (Dapps) built on the TRON protocol. Each Dapp will have a referral program, with these referral program activated when the Dapp is launched by users. Dapps may send dividend tokens as reward, which can in turn be used to stake for more dividends.
In addition to the referral program, the TronWallet platform is working to be a one-stop platform for TRON Dapps, with users able to see the number of active users and level of activity for each Dapp on the platform.
Revenue is earned from the Dapp affiliate program and Dapp listing on the platform. 50% of revenue from this revenue source and other TronWallet revenue will be shared among TWX and TWLT holders.
TRON Super Representatives Support
As the TRON protocol runs on the Delegated Proof Of Stake (DPoS) consensus mechanism, the super representatives of the TRON network plays an important role in the governance of the community. To this end, TronWallet currently provides support for this and is exploring monetization options. To quote a paragraph from their blog
TronWallet currently provides voting counts for two SR’s — in addition to TronWallet SR. We have provided these for no charge to help the community but from March we will explore alternatives as it adds a lot of value and greatly simplifies the operation of any SR by leveraging our reliable blockchain operation.
Tokenomics- TWX and TWLT
TronWallet has 2 different token in its network, TWX and TWLT. TWLT refers to the TronWallet lifetime subscription token. Holders of this token can expect to be given exclusive benefits, such as unlimited access to every feature of the TronWallet, with the exception of the vote for listing fee feature. The tokens are limited in supply, with 10,000 tokens created and 1,000 released annually.
Users can purchase TWLT tokens with TWX tokens. TWX will be the native token of the TronWallet platform, with TWX to be the mode of payment for activities done on the platform. In Summary
With 66,000 downloads and approximately 11,000 daily average users, TronWallet has the potential to be the go-to wallet for new and existing TRON users. By offering a list of complimentary services for both projects and users, potential for retention of the user base is high. As revenue is shared with both TWX and TWLT holders, token holders will benefit from any network expansion of TronWallet.
