About Me — Garry Lee

A little bit of everything makes me happy

Who am I?

My name is Garry Lee and whilst I’ve run many different businesses, my passions are writing, reading and running. This is why I love Medium and engaging with fellow writers on the platform.

I am a son, a husband and a father of two. I’m a friend, a co-worker and a mentor to some amazing people.

My family means everything to me, I have an amazing wife that’s saving the world a day at a time and my two children are bright, caring and sometimes a pain in the backside.

Where am I from?

I’m based in the north of the UK, right between Manchester and Liverpool. I love to travel around the country and get around the globe — less so since having children, although we are starting to correct that!

I’ve been to all parts of the world, from Australia and the Americas to Asia, through to all points within Europe. My favourite cities would be London, New York, Barcelona and Liverpool, but I’ve had amazing experiences in some of the smallest and strangest places on earth, from walking the coastlines of Italy through to getting lost in Mexico and tired out on the Great Wall of China.
