Hi, I’m Hans-Manuel de Biekieper, and I’m semi-fictional.
As you might have guessed, being only 50% real is quite a predicament.
Yes, it’s not always a walk in the park. But I do hope this asset will make me stand out in this veritable ocean of writing talent here on Medium.
Is this the real life?
Sure. Behind the scenes, there’s a real, flesh and blood guy writing this stuff.
He was born in the late 1980s — when Milli Vanilli topped the music charts. (And when I say late 80s, I mean late 80s. Like “only being alive for two dozen 80s days” 80s.)
He was born in Belgium — a country that sounds semi-fictional, but is apparently real.
His favourite music genres are respectively “loud” and “dramatic” (with or without guitar). He likes history (the more ancient, the better). His current obsession is board games, although his other obsession is having ephemeral obsessions that change every so often. (With three exceptions: fries, Wikipedia, and talking about himself in the third person.)
