About Me — MONA
Books | Publishing | Feminism
How hard it could be to write about oneself?
I think it’s the hardest thing as one goes through all the PAINS — past and existing ones — at the same time. What you were. What you couldn’t be, what you wished, and everything that does not work according to you, all hit at once.
I had to write myself and it pains to pen it down. I can’t tell you how disappointed I am when I am writing these words.
Hi, I am Mona!
My day looks like reading, contributing to publishing, and talking about feminism. It’s sad that I am a Science graduate. There is nothing wrong with Science, for sure, but those three years of graduation are better not remembered. I used to cry every day, feeling trapped.
Living in a small town doesn’t give me access to books to read, people to follow, and exposure to have. It wasn’t a time of the digital age, at least for my town. Just clean air to breathe and organic food to eat.
Three years back, I left my town without my parents’ blessings, path, and financial stability. I used to wander until someone taught me the concept of resumes, job applications, and internships. I am still learning, now with a direction and a path to follow.
