About Me — Sajjad Choudhury
An ENFP Londoner with a lot of experiences
Hello everyone!
My name is Sajjad, and I’m 27 years old, living in London. My parents are originally from Bangladesh, but I come from a vibrant multi-cultural family that’s scattered across the globe from Canada to Australia.
As a person, I’m quite confident and ambitious and enjoy socialising with others. However, that doesn’t mean I’m a full-on extrovert, as I also like being on my own. I’d consider myself quite empathetic and don’t tend to get angry or frustrated easily.
Much of what makes me who I am comes from the fact that when I was 13, my family moved to Wales, where I had to create a new identity for myself. Those years helped shape a lot of my personality as I went from being introverted to more extroverted. You can read the story of my challenges in making new friends here, as it was not an easy experience.
In terms of how I’ve got into writing, my journey actually began when I was 17. I discovered a website called Triond (now defunct) and would write basic articles on topics like space, games and other random subjects like the benefits of honey. I didn’t get to make much (it used Google Adsense), but for a teenager to earn $100 after a year, it felt good.
