TL;DR

I run a venture-backed AI Startup @ Forth.AI, conduct academic research on LLM Agents @ SUTD, advise AI and SaaS startups @ Quest Ventures , and teach computer science UG courses @ UOL.

In Apr 2024, my startup just turned 10 years old, which marked the 10th year of me being a founder. Coming to the 11th year of my entrepreneurial life, I’ve been shaped (i.e. forced to learn to) to do well in many areas, from coding to selling, to managing a diversified team and battling with sometimes-not-so-reasonable customers.

My startup has transformed (a.k.a. pivoted) several times since day one. It started being an EdTech product, to a dev house, to now an AI products incubator. Though profitable, none of the forms take off like the superstar startups in the news and VCs’ portfolio pages. While still having that as my goal, I convince myself to focus on the process, do everything it takes to get there, maximize my exposure to luck, and wait for the result to come. I hope something great…
