Hello, everyone. My name is Victory Igolo.
I used to joke that my last name, Igolo, was actually Igloo misspelt. In fact, I had this one friend who would call me that back then in secondary school.
Well, the name Igolo is a Nigerian name of Igbo origin. Its meaning? “The Beautiful One.” It’s not a common name amongst us Igbo people, and sometimes it leaves people wondering what ethnicity I really am.
I live in the capital city of Abuja, Nigeria. I’ve lived here almost all my life, but I’d like to travel, visit other countries, and experience different cultures.
Achievements So Far
I graduated from the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), where I studied Electrical Engineering and got my B.Eng. degree.
After my education, I completed the one-year compulsory national service.
In my country, every graduate is required to spend one year serving the nation under the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
