“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go.” — Dr. Seuss, “I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!”

When I have the opportunity to go into someone’s office or home, I always enjoy having a chance to peak at their bookshelf. Sometimes I can find some common interest that I didn’t know about. I find this a better view into someone than the photos on the wall or Social Media post they make, but that’s a whole other subject!

Since I do most of my reading on a Kindle these days it’s hard for others to get that opportunity with me, so as a substitute, let’s look at some of my interest and hobbies. I do love the feel of ‘a real book’ but several things have driven me into the modern age…

  • I travel in an RV full-time, and weight is always a factor.
  • I can read at night without bothering my wife.
  • I like being able to take notes on my Kindle Paperwhite which I have been able to get into Obsidian, and can mine them for articles.
